To anyone who read Green Arrow, what did you think?I, personally, didn't like it. I didn't read much GA, but they seem to have really changed Ollie's attitude (not to mention appearance/age)
I'm not sure how i feel about it at all. I don't think it was necessarily a bad book, but it was definitely inferior to what came before the reboot, imo.

Yeah...they definitely seem to be taking him in a different direction. He looks like he's going to be Batman with a bow and arrow, when really he should be more troubled...darker in tactics, morals, etc.
All the comics I read this week I really enjoyed.
Batwing was a huge and pleasant surprise. The art was beautiful, among the best of any of the books I've bought thus far, and the story was engrossing and surprisingly dark. Massacre looks like he's going to be a legit villain.
Animal Man was excellent. Great opening with the faux magazine interview and I loved the family life showed, gave the story a bit more weight than most comics.
Also read Action Comics, Batgirl, Swamp Thing and Detective Comics. All of which were very good. Detective Comics was probably my favorite of the week. Really liked this version of the Joker and the final page was a great cliffhanger.

I always liked that Ollie was just... Ollie. Even when he was Green Arrow he was the same guy. The Batman route worries me, as Ollie should always be a bit of a swashbuckler at times.

QFT.
Haven't read Green Arrow yet, but from what I'm hearing, I'm kinda disappointed. Seems too...Smallville-ish from some of the descriptions of Ollie's personality.
Eddy Barrows is usually hit and miss for me, but that aion't half bad.
