STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- City in the Clouds

Only the odd few do not qualify for that, not to mention that the Wing Guard does not have solid proof that those places do dabble in that.

Is there anyone else that the Guard knows of that he worked with regularly?

For that matter, were the other mercenaries that attacked Rianna identified?

Some of them were. Mainly no-names with minor records. No connections could be made with the Rocketeer prior to the attack.

And no- the Rocketeer is a loner.

Any sort of surveillance that can be checked?

The Wing Guard is certainly checking all their sensors and cameras! The maintenance tunnels are totally rigged to make sure people aren't crawling around in them. But nothing has been triggered.

Huh. That's really unusual, unless he either 1) knows ways to bypass such sensors, or 2) was able to get out of the vents before hitting a sensor.

You would have to check and see which it is.

Since Rianna lacks Fix-It, there is not a whole lot she can do for investigating why the sensors have not been tripped in the tunnels.

Of your two theories, Zaltus finds it unlikely that he was just able to get out before tripping a sensor. They should have gone off the moment he went in.

"So he must have found a way to bypass them undetected," Zaltus says. "Not ALL of the maintenance tunnels have sensors installed, of course. But the major ones do."

"Even if he managed to keep the sensors from triggering, then at least something should show on a camera, though; even if he tampered with them," Rianna replies. "Shouldn't it?"

"I have my men searching the tapes now," Zaltus says.

He pauses.

"What is the next step, once you locate the Rocketeer? He won't go quietly."

"No, he won't. But he also took us by surprise last time, and had reinforcements. I don't intend to let that happen again this time."

"Nor do I," Zalt says. "He nearly killed you."

"Neither the first time that's nearly happened, nor will it be the last. It's something of an occupational hazard," Rianna replies. "Next time I will be prepared for him."

"And you'll have my men assisting you," Zalt says. "We'll turn the tables on him, as soon as he's found.

"Have you given any further thought to that droid at the bar?"

"The droid knows something. Rand was there, we know that now...but what the droid could have overheard, I don't know. Rand plays his cards close to his chest and I can't see him letting anything slip. And I simply don't have the amount that droid wants for a bribe."

"Why stop at the droid then?" Zaltus asks. "Surely someone owns the droid that operates the bar..."

"Are there records available that would show who the owner is?"

Cloud City maintains detailed records about property ownership on-board. They have to; they only have so much space.

Well, let's get a look at those!

Okay! The bar is owned by a popular local businessman named Nestor.
