STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- City in the Clouds

"More of a warning, really," Rianna replies. "Considering that the two I'm looking for are criminals who've committed atrocities you couldn't imagine...well. You see what sort of situation this is."

"YOU HAVE THREATENED ME," the droid blares. "THREATENED! THREATENED!"

Several figures emerge from the crowds around the bar, some reaching for weapons but most simply acting threatening.

"LEAVE AT ONCE. RETURN WITH FUNDS OR DO NO RETURN."

"And am I supposed to be threatened?" Rianna says, looking them over.

"Fine, have your money. But I want to hear what you know first. I want to be sure I'm not going to be cheated."

"NO," the droid says.

You do not have enough funds, Rianna. Even with everything you have. This droid is asking for absurd quantities of cash.

"Look, did they sit in here planning out what they were doing while you listened in?" Rianna asks. "Because it's the only way you could vaguely justify this."

"CREDITS OR REMOVAL," the droid quips.

"I'll find someone else willing to help," Rianna says, getting up to leave.

The droid returns to his duties and those thugs return to the crowd. Some follow you out to make sure you do not return.

"Oh, go away, unless you're willing to give me any information," Rianna snaps at them.

Next place on the list, I guess...

"Big words for a little lady," says a Nikto. The others laugh.

Something tells you that you will not have a great deal of luck after this.

After all, there is no such thing as luck.

"As if scum like you frightens me..." Rianna says, her lightsaber still in her hand.

Damn the Force for being unhelpful.

Depends on how you view it. You are not sensing nothing. You are just sensing nothing else.

So basically that irritating droid is the best chance of getting any info. Bleh.

Rianna will go find the two guards she went down here with.

How irritating. They don't appear to be answering.

How irritating indeed...though Rianna thinks that it might be a bit of a bad sign if neither are answering. She will peek into the bars they went to check, see if she she can find them.

You are not sure which ones they went to. You would have to check all of them!

Rianna will try contacting Zaltus, then, and explain the situation!

Zaltus responds.

"How can I help you, Master Jedi?" he asks pleasantly.

Rianna feels slightly uncomfortable at being addressed as such, as she left the Order...

"Have you had any contact with the two guards that came down to the lower levels with me? I can't seem to get responses from either of them," she says.

"I have not. Let me try to reach them."

A moment of silence as Zaltus attempts to raise them on the comm channel. Again, no response.

"Strange. Give me a moment..."

You hear some fiddling around on the other end and a brief moment of ear-breaking feedback.

"Their comlinks are still transmitting. I can try to find where they are based on the signal."
