Halo 4

So I finished the campaign.

I love this game so far.

The campaign was both breathtaking and emotional not something many video games get me to feel.

The visuals and sounds are great.

Badguy design is cool.

Overall seems decently balanced but I haven't taken on Multiplayer yet that could change quickly.

The introduction of sprint is cool although it makes the standard default control layout a little wonky if you are used to how previous Halo games play.

I cannot find words to express how glad I am that 343 made sprint an universal ability. I always thought Halo would benefit the most from sprint, and I wondered why they made it an armor ability in Reach. It wasn't that good to begin with. At least compared to jetpacks(were fkn retarded on Reach), armor lock( game breaking - thank god its gone for good - wjhoever thought of it should get shot in his/her dick/vagina) and evade which is a superior and more versatile sprint-like move. Now I get to use sprint in every loadout while also having a jetpack(or others) which gives me a lot of mobility.

I agree. The bad guy design was pretty damn cool, but I thought they should have

Spoiler:
kept him in his unarmored state. Not sayng the armor looked bad because it looked cool but I was kind of "Meh" another armored douche.

It's good I'm having fun. The level designs seem pretty good for Multi-Player. I think this is for sure the best campaign of all the Halos.

Also my averages so far for Slayer is

20 kills 7 assists and 10 deaths.

Also I love the blue shield.

So this was by far the best storytelling in a Halo game. I was very impressed with that aspect of it. Storytelling has always been something I felt was lacking in the series, I just never really felt a connection to anyone in the series, and never really cared about what was happening on any meaningful level. That all changed here.

Spoiler:
Cortana's death was extremely sad and well done. Also it was great finally seeing Chief show some semblance of emotion and feel human for a change. That said, I was a bit surprised as to how the game didn't really set up the rest of this new trilogy. This could be a stand alone story with the way it was done. With the Didact dead, I wonder where they'll take the story in the next 2 games.

Overall it's definitely up there with Reach as the best Halo game as far as the campaign goes. I felt there wasn't really enough freedom as far as choosing what guns to use. I was pretty much forced to use the forerunner weapons for what felt like most of the game. They were fine weapons - fun to use and all that. But I usually prefer using the human versions and I couldn't for good portions of the game.

Also I like fighting against the covenant more than the new enemies. It feels like there's more to them and more strategy involved when fighting them.

Gotta say the multiplayer is so balanced, I can hardly even get mad when I die. BIG difference from Gears 3.

When are we going to tackle legendary? I want that Chief armor uhuh

If its the solo run...well...**** that shit.

Waitin on you *****. Send me an invite!

Can't play it right now. just finally found the courage to let go of the controller(Effin addicted) LoL. Defnitely tomorrow though

So addicting. When your doing consistently well in MP its next to impossible to put down the controller.

Just beat the campaign solo on Legendary!

It's kinda funny how the game has a massive spike in difficulty during level 3 because the Prometheans are introduced.

Agreed, I like the inclusion of Sprint which I think helps, also showing where all the weapons are at also adds a bit of balance to the game.

The Promethean knights are so hard to kill on Legendary

You are a god among men. There's no way I could do that.

Eh, couldn't wait. Bought a 360 tonight. Beat the first level then jumped into multiplayer.

Add me if you want: BarkerWoofer

I'm not nearly as annoying as I seem on KMC, promise.

I've just recently beat the campaign solo on Legendary. My hands hurt. I've been practically playing it all day.

It was pretty good. Definitely superior to 3 and ODST, on par with the original and Reach, but decidedly inferior to 2.

Just hit the xp limit. Still playing. Beasting noobs

Do you guys have any tips for the legendary solo runthrough? I'm getting my ass handed to me.

Switched my timezone and managed to fool the xp limit thing. ohhh yeaaaah
