I didn't really see any limits to Ichigo's power in that form. I hardly see why he needed mugetsu since he was handily beating Aizen anyway.

Stop bull shitting, 4 tails Naruto and up is a mindless beast that thinks about nothing but killing his opponent.

Naruto didn't know any wind elemental attacks, he learned about his element in the Immortal arc, and that arc happen at least 100 chapter since his fight with Orochimaru.

Also 4 tails one arm swing is far more impressive than Luffy trowing multiple punches to destroy something.

He has enough presence of mind to charge up and fire the Menacing Ball.

Narurto isn't in charge at that point, the Fox is.

The idea that it is a wind jutsu is silly. A large strike of chakra akin to what Sakura does is the more likely answer. Ironically, the real Kyuubi has pitiful strength feats in comparison to that one instance.

Luffy will knock his block off before he can do that.

Tailed beats can do wind jutsu. It is so not silly!

Shikaku. The only one shown using a wind technique is from the Land of Wind. The link you just posted is of him.

Which probably means Kishi changed directions with the beasts for Part 2, unsurprisingly. Kyuubi, big and orange, would probably have been able to use fire techniques, based on the country it is in.

Isn't he from the land of sand? I must be missing some backstory or piece of lore here.

The 4-tail could have done something similar to this.

5 Great Lands: Fire, Water, Lightning, Ground, Wind.

The Sand Village, which had the Shikaku, was in the Land of Wind. He knew wind techniques.

Actually, going by pure design, the only two that make no sense as far as placement are the Nibi(Two tails of fire) and the Hachibi(Bull+Octopus=Lightning huh?) The rest arguably match their environment.
