Galactus doesn't need outside help to beat Odin,it's Odin who needs it to beat Galactus or stalemate him. I feel Galactus is greater than Odin. Odin is powerful but he is not a Galactus or Celestial level being, period.

Apparently, you don't count yourself among the literate. Neither side was budging in that fight. Odin realized the futility of an endless stalemate and jumped into the Destroyer. Galactus wasn't doing jack vs Odin neither was Odin doing jack vs Galactus.

Lol I just find it awesome how Fraction was like "I don't want to be cliche and have them fire a bunch of blasts at each other, but really have them fight as gods and beings on their level should."

...and then he has Odin headbutt him.

I'm curious as to how Coipel reacted to Fraction's description of the fight.

Odin phucked himself up headbutting Galactus, realized he got styled on, and ran to get the Destroyer to beat a superior being.

By the time this arc concludes, my gut feeling is that the power rankings will go as follows:

Giant Odin Destroyer > Well Fed Galactus=/> Full Power Odin + Asgardians or Asgard > Sated/Fed Galactus > Full Power/Giant Sized Odin > Base level Odin > Hungry Galactus

That seems to be direction the story is headed to.

For the record, Odin wasn't the only one throwing around energy in the collision:

He was pretty messed up though:

If it's any consolation, there's a very real possibility Galactus was knocked out if only temporarily. At the very least, he was rocked pretty hard.

Ugh, a f*cking headbutt. What a waste of my f*cking money. I didn't think it was possible, but Fraction made both Odin and Galactus look bad.

I knew there was a 50/50 chance that Odin would lose but I thought at the very least it'd be an epic confrontation. If the fight had been good, I wouldn't give a shit about the winner.
