Odin VS Galactus

I think he's speculating that Odin is actually inhabiting the Destroyer. Maybe instead of entering the Odin Sleep, he actually transferred his consciousness into the Destroyer.

You know with only having one eye you would think Odin would be a little more weary of Headbutts especially with that Helmet of Galactus he could have put the other eye out.

Odin doesn't even need the Destroyer Armor. I now see the earlier reports of Odin "losing" to Galactus were exaggerated. He probably got sick of the stalemate and hopped inside the Destroyer Armor to annihilate Galactus once and for all.

Odin needs the destroyer to beat Galactus.

Odin seemed to be legitimately drained after the...uh....headbutt. Not sure why he'd sound so desperate if he could just blink and transfer his consciousness to the Destroyer.

Also, what's Mjolnir going to do that he couldn't do alone?

Fraction's really sucks. I'm going to tear out his spleen if I ever met him in person. We saw the entire Surfer/Thor confrontation in the motherf*cking preview pages.

After all the hype and based on the solicits, I would have bet my right leg that this issue was going to have Surfer/Thor battling out to the death while Galactus/Odin were doing the same but on a higher scale only for the battles to be interrupted near the end by the Destroyer or something.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Odin knew he couldn't beat Galactus and likewise Galactus couldn't beat Odin. Rather than get stuck in an eternal stalemate, he breaks off from the fight and jumps into the Destroyer.

NOW..............

IF Galactus beats Odin in the Destroyer Armor, then I'll give Galactus his due.

He already proved his superiority by Odin needing the Destroyer.

knowing fraction, he probably screw that up too🙁, I believe Galactus will win regardless. But fraction will do a wank fest on Galactus too make Odin look good.

I'm pretty sure Fraction's intent was that Galactus is superior to Odin, but that Odin under his own power is able to contend with him.

Which isn't really all that wild, tbh.

The Destroyer contains the Seed <guessing from past issue>so even if Odin wins somehow it's not telling us anything new.

How do we know he 'drained' himself? It's common knowledge that when your soul enters the Destroyer your body goes limp. Exactly like what happened to Odin and it's hinted at in the next issue.
