I know Wolverine can't win if he has no way of hurting Thor. Frankly, I'm insulted that you really think I'm that stupid.
I didn't think I had to specify hand to CLAW. I just figured you would all get it. Let me try to clarify my position on this:
Thor with no restrictions vs. Wolverine with no restrictions = Thor easily wins. No question.
Thor only allowed hand to hand vs. Wolverine with no restrictions = Wolverine wins a majority of the time.
What is all boils down to is this:
Wolverine has proven he can take a ridiculously strong punch and keep coming, has Thor proven he can survive having a claw through the brain or having his head cut off? If he loses a limb in this he WILL bleed to death. In my opinion, Wolverine gets the first big score about 70% of the time against Thor. Until I see Thor really just take it to someone using only his hands, I'm not going to buy that he has that kind of skill.
I have read the whole thread. Wolverine would win in h2h combat 'cause Thor barely ever used his godspeed and without Mjolnir he can't heal himself. It was said that Mjolnir enhanced his natural healing process. But I don't think he could heal wounds caused by adamantium claws... DD easily dodged Thor's attacks but did not counter attack, Wolvie'd do so and take Son of Odin down 😛
It is true that normally Thor gets pulled by his hammer; but without his hammer he could use his control of the weather to fly (as does Storm). Cah he fly into space without his hammer? I don't know; but if so, he flies Wolverine out there and throws him into the sun.
If he can't fly into space with out the hammer, he batters Wolverine so far down in to the earth Wolverine melts in its molten core.
I'm a fan of the little hothead, but this delussion that he has god-like status is ridiculous.
If Thor managed to batter Wolvie so far down, he'd finally break his wrist bones... Logan's skeleten is all laced with adamantium and Thor's bones density is no match for this. And remember we're talking about Thor with no Odinpower, no Mjolnir... Thor got beaten by Hulk several times. Wolverine once slashed Savage Hulk so badly he transformed back into Banner... Thor's only feat in fight vs. Hulk was vast powerful thunderbolt which KOed Hulk for some time.
The Hammer is just an extention of Thor and a focus for his powers (not saying that the hammer don't have it's own enchantments). Thor still has superhuman speed, agility, strength, durability, centuries of tatical battle knowlege, and has the warrior's madness to counter Wolvie's "bezerker fury". Thor for the definate win 10/10

Skill is irrelevant in this fight. Thor is hundreds (if not thousands) of times stronger than Wolverine. Can you imagine a 5-year old black belt trying to fight a world-class weightlifter with zero fighting skills? Who would win? The fighting skills of the child would be rendered obsolete. The weightlifter will crush this poor child the same way Thor would crush Logan.
That scan a few pages back also proves that Wolverine can NOT cut Thor. Wolverine slashed at the wrist of the arm, in the next image Thor is holding his upper arm while the wrist is not damaged.
