Well it doesn't seem to contrast well at all actually... Before he got into it with century he nearly had his head chopped off while fighting three guys who are on sentry's level (venom villain not the other sentry who showed up afterwards), so his healing factor was already impeded by that. Aside from that, Wolverine couldn't even cut through Sentry's skin while Thor isn't assured that same condition. And I'm slightly assured that Sentry's more powerful than Thor.

and tell me that I'm not stating facts when I call out those circumstances.. See, everyone likes to complain about Wolverine fans pointing out the circumstances but no one likes to admit that they are indeed facts that took place. And logically it makes sense. If you have a character that is EXTREMELY difficult to KO but the story requires you to get him out of the way, you wear him down until it's acceptable for him to go down. We're not making up excuses from the netherregions of our minds... We're just stating things how they happened...
Again, people can claim that Wolverine goes down to stuff less than class 100 punches all the time but no one is ever well pressed to find examples without circumstance. 😬

No see.. he lost a lot of blood.. but aside from that I don't think you guys are quite getting the way the healing factor works...

okay it's like wolverine is whole and undamaged.. he's operating at 100%R
wolverine takes a grenade and multiple gunshot wounds... he heals.. yes he's healed from that but now he's only really at a 70% capacity.
Next he gets sneak attacked by wonder man and is hit repeatedly by class 100 blows.. he heals... he LOOKS HEALED and in essence he is but now he's only operating at 10 to 20% capacity...
the more damage that wolverine takes without food or rest in-between the easier it is for him to get dropped later.... even though he heals things physically they still take their toll on him..

Look, if you're attempting to make an argument that class 100 punches can put Wolverine down more often than they fail to, you need evidence of just that.
But if the evidence presented is SKEWED in some way shape or form then the evidence doesn't strictly fit the thesis of the argument.
So no, Wolverine getting beaten up or run through or sneak attacked before being KOed by a class 100 shot is NOT IRRELIVENT, because in order to prove something you have to leave no room for doubt.. Wolverine being beaten by circtumstances leaves room for doubt it's that simple.
Not really, Thanos is an eternal by way of circumstance as well.. but if that example isn't good enough for you, it's like saying that spiderman can beat franklin richards because superhuman>child... The point is that titles don't mean anything compared to what they're giving titles to... Herc's a god.. so what? Wolverine's still dropped his ass...
Thor's a God, and a big lizard had him on the ropes.. titles don't mean victory here.. that simple.

Simple.. Either by nailing him fast from behind while he's buisy doing something else... Or by ignoring Wolverine's superhuman capabilities, attributes, training, and history... In a term PIS... but it happens.. And I'm not necessarily saying that it's a bad thing when it does... sometimes the story needs to be moved along like that but on a forum we have to account for all showings and that includes the plethora where he has those attributes and people fail to sneak up on him.

You just answered your own question.. In fact you gave the reasons for what makes it PIS in the first place.. How do you think it happens.. you just stated Wolverine's capabilities, powers, and experience, how can someone sneak up on a character with that power set?
