Losing part of the body > being cut.
Therefore, Thor wins because Wolverine can't do "shit" to him.

Losing the upper HALF of ONE horn < bleeding profusely. Wolverine showed that he can hurt Thor and badly if he hits a soft spot. Thor didn't do jack vs Mangog.
You are really comparing the "damage" Thor did to Mangog vs the damage Wolverine's claws did to Thor? PS your boy is lucky he blocked Logan's initial swipe with is indestructible hammer, it would have taken his face off. He doesn't have that luxury in this fight.

Given the where the hit was shown landing, Mangog had to be looking in Thor's direction at the time.

Get two action figures or a pencil and paper and story board the shit out. Mangog is looking over his shoulder, he is attacked from behind, gets clocked in the jaw on the side of his face furthest away from his attacker, and he spins with the momentum of the hammer.
