I don't know about the comics but I did find it too convenient & cliched that Emma Stone not only worked at Osbourne but was also the daughter of the police commissioner.

Dafoe? He was perfect! His costume was bad, but everything else about the character couldn't have been better. They are going to have a tough time one-upping him.

I approve. She's got the MJ look down. Emma Stone is still hotter, but she comes close. Depending on her character, she could surpass too.
