The second generally has more money to spend, gets better supporting characters, the production has learned from past mistakes so they can get more done in less time which leaves more time to refine and make things better, doesn't have to tell an origin story on top of the story they are trying to tell.
Those probably all contribute imo, and there are probably tons more people could think of.
Also in terms of Villains I think Spider-Man 2 has the best Villain out of all of them. Dafoe is a great actor but I didn't like Green Goblin nearly as much as I liked the Doc Ock character.
Although the Lizard from the new Spidey film was really good imo.

way to go Mark Webb. 💃 Thats impressive especially in the fact that there were already three spidey movies made previously.That just shows that a lot of people like this movie as well a lot.

yes.sm2 was a copycat rip off of superman.Just like all of Raimis were.Losing his powers? gee thats what happened to clark kent and superman 2 but unlike man-spider 2,it was believeable when superman lost them in superman 2.he didnt lose them because he was depressed. 😆 once you get past the cool special effects of sm2 and look at it objectively,its horribly written and looks like the work of a five year old.seriously. 😆

It annoyed me as well. It was just PIS needed for the plot.
But if you think about it, he's still an amateur at using his powers effectively in this movie. If they're really working towards a Sinister 6 Plot as rumored then he won't be making rookie mistakes like that in the future!

Sort of like an "OH SHI-!" moment, then he got shot. Mainly cuz I wasn't expecting Goddamn Cap.Stacy right around the corner about to run his ass over all Dennis Leary style, hahaha.
And also, that hazard suit thing that Steve brought up, were they Hazmat suits? I missed if they were just suits to keep a sterile environment or protective hazmat suits.

but whether or not he is an amateur his "spider sense" still should have warned him.. just like when his web shooters didn't work in the water when him and lizard were fighting , that was even more shiite

that was one of the few things that bothered me about this movie was Capt stacy is suppose to be super smart and be able to figure out his identity all by himself,yet we saw none of his smarts in the movie.Yeah capt stacy was miscast,Leary acted like leary instead of Capt Stacy and was too young for the part.
That bothered me that Capt Stacy wasnt behind spiderman the whole time and then when he finds out peter is spiderman,all of a sudden its okay that he fights crime.Capt Stacy in the comics did not care who spidey was and appreciated his help.That was also another case of inconsistancy that carried over from the raimi films,he can dodge those bullets from that officer easily,but he is too afraid to jump away and out of sight from capt stacy despite his amazing speed he has. I also did not like it that Peter turned in doc connors to capt stacy.He always tried to prevent people from finding out connors was the lizard.

Refresh my mind but I honestly don't recall any scenes where the "spider sense" was used.
I mean his reactions were pretty fast but unlike the Raimi movies there was no obvious sense that Peter "knew" danger was coming.

also when he caught the football sitting on the bleachers making out with gwen..

It went off a shitload in the subway. It was that noise that triggered right before shit happened. It's especially noticable before the drop on the bottle reaches his forehead..........
Aside from actually being there and can even be heard, it's heavily noted again when he was on the roof with Gwen. It triggered and he took off from the roof.

His Spider sense would warn him, but him reacting to his spider sense's warning has always been partly instinctual but also partly getting used to how it works and acting on it.
Hey the great thing about self made web shooters is he can learn from that experience and improve his web shooters to be.. (water proof lol)
