Alan Moore is getting company on his island, it seems.

Some people are going to write for the big two, because they are the most high profile houses to go to. Is it going to be a constant cycle of indie writer gets attention, is recruited and becomes a name writing for the big two, only to walk away angry after several years because they don't own the characters and all that copyright arguing that goes back decades etc.?
