My opinion is just the only logical conclusion I can reach. Are we not only assuming that Zeus is equal to Odin in raw power but is capable of doing anything the All Father can? People have always given Zeus an unusually high benefit of the doubt but that would be too far.

Baseless supposition regarding Galactus' hunger levels in the respective showings aside, if that isn't enough to establish that the current status quo has them firmly in the same tier, then I don't know what is.

Bravo for Zeus, like I said, he's going up in the world due to Pak but I'd still need to see more before I assume his on par with Odin. Not that it matters, people have been assuming that's the case long before the Galactus scene for whatever reason.

And I do believe they're in the same tier.

For the record, if Zeus faced a Galactus that had not yet fed and Odin is facing a Galactus that has, it would have a major impact on the battle. And these assumptions would be far from baseless. I'm not going to go into details of Galactus' hunger levels but if you press the point, I will.

It not just that I like Asgard more than Olympus, I honestly believe that's how a battle between the two would go down whether people agree with it or not. The smartest option was to exclude Zeus from the event and I commend Pak for doing so. Your fooling yourself if you think that Zeus would some how walk away the victor if he were to pop in.

It's a good fight. Zeus being kept out of the fray by writers in the same way Odin is, is further proof that they don't want powers that would threaten the Serpent being immediately present as combatants.

Okay? For the record, I'm pretty sure a a nice chunk of Zeus' power was utilized. At the very least, that eagle that Hulk fought had a decent portion of Zeus' might. It doesn't exactly help Zeus help support that Zeus is equal to Odin but I like Zeus so I won't examine the scenes.

Well, from a recent documentation I read on Zeus and Odin, they will be squaring off along with the gods of each realm (Herc, Thor, etc...). This is happening at the end of next year though, Sept or Nov. So all of your questions and thoughts of the 2 will be answered then because it was stated that the battle will not be over with until one of them falls. My money is on Zeus.

I don't have a link. I got it from the same source that told me 3 yrs back that Superman was going to get weakened. I shared this info 3 yrs back and it happened. Based on feats, Odin > Zeus. Shit being said on panel is one thing. What characters actually do is another thing entirely.

As for the thread, I'd say it's still too early to call. If The Serpent is actually Odin's equal or near-equal, then he wins.

Exactly. Didn't Odin, in the beginning of the Fear Itself story, say WE'LL beat him like WE did before or something to his fellow Asgardians. Anyone that takes ODIN + ALL ASGARD to beat will STOMP Zeus.

I'll bottom line this for you I like Zeus more than Odin on panel they are suppose to be equal but your really don't want to start delving to deeply into this.Odin has feat that are not only better than Zeus but better than people who are suppose to be levels above him the quality of opponent Odin has faced are much better than Zeus.His limited appearances compared to Odin and not being a fleshed out as him at least in comics contribute to this but even in your standard appearance Odin comes across as more impressive.Take stock that Pak seems to like Zeus and the olympians and wants to use him and has had him coming across impressive and with the respect he deserves.

Serpent if reaches full potential. Meaning a few weeks of growth.

Kills Zeus.
