The Celestial didn't one-shot Thor because PIS. Why is it not PIS for Tyrant when he fails to one-shot herald levelers? Consistency. Go look at every fight he's had against herald level beings and you see that he couldn't one-shot any of them even when they're weak! These are among his only showings, it's what establishes his power ranking. He then went on to have a struggle with Thanos; the same Thanos that begged for Galactus' mercy. Tyrant unleashed an attack to kill Thanos and it created a crater. That's it. As for Galactus, the whole thing was a baffle because Galactus already crushed Tyrant and depowered him. Why he was worried about a being he'd already beat a more powerful Tyrant in battle is baffling. When the majority of Tyrant's fights show him displaying nothing on Odin's level at all. The fact that Galactus didn't want to fight Tyrant doesn't trump Tyrant's actual display of power. He was able to take Galactus on by feeding on Galactus' attack. But outright power from him, he was lacking in putting down even Jack of Hearts.Tyrant doesn't have the feats to put him in leagues with Galactus, Odin, and the Celestials. Odin no-sold most of Thanos' attack and have fought galaxy busters and wrecked them. Him not one-shoting Thor is PIS. He one-shot Ulik, Annihilus, Surfer, and Drax, all of whom are Thor's tier. Celestials have moved belts of planets as their weapon, created herald beings in minutes, and no sold attacks from skyfathers. Thor not being one-shot was PIS. Welcome to comic books!
If you want to argue Tyrant is skyfather level then that's plausible, but he sure isn't Galactus level with those piss-poor performance against Thanos and the heralds.
Hypocrisy much WWK… So heroes not getting one shot against Galactus, T&A, Odin & Celestials are PIS.. But when that "kinda" happens to Tyrant… those are indicative to his power levels.. It couldn't be that it happened for the same reason it happened in the examples I used.. ya know.. heroes doing better than they should against stronger more powerful foes.. That ISN'T a possibility WWK? I certainly hoping you're not taking that stand and saying it couldn't be PIS in the case of Tyrant as well. Furthermore, I say kinda because he DID one shot Surfer twice… He was out long enough to count as a forum win or did you intentionally skip over that part of my post? He was put down for the count in one shot.. the gets back up panels later. Just because you get back up later doesn't mean it wasn't a one shot. He did the same to Gay and BRB.. You're forgetting that they were all done with utter ease.. they were no threat to him or did you miss the clear presentation of the fight? Just because he didn't one shot them in the manner that others have.. doesn't mean they were anymore of a threat to Tyrant as people who were one shot the "way you like". Even though, they were pretty much all one shot.
Further, notice how you again skipped over the part of Thanos vs. Tyrant and Odin vs Thanos… A clear difference in power was shown there and felt by Thanos. If you go by how they looked against Thanos.. Tyrant clearly comes of as more powerful.. You can't get around these facts and differences…
1. Thanos was prepped, amped and looking for a fight against Tyrant… This is in stark contrast to his fight with Odin.. Thanos wasn't looking for a fight nor was he prepped or amped
2. Tyrant dealt with an amped and prepped Thanos much quicker than Odin was able to
3. Thanos never once feared for his life or back down from Odin.. Against Tyrant he backed down and admitted Tyrant was going to kill him if he stayed
This can't be stated enough.. He was seeking Odin's help… not looking for a fight.. stark contrast to prepping and looking for a fight… Yet Tyrant still did better. Lastly, you can say Tyrant only one because of his ability to manipulate Galactus blasts but that ignores the clear presentation fo the comic again. Original Tyrant fought Galactus for years and years before there was a winner. Galaxies were destroyed in the process of their fight. That is some serious collateral damage and pretty evenly matched foes. Which of course makes sense because Tyrant was made in Galactus image… He was made to be Galactus equal.. so duh.. of course it would be a damn good battle. Now fast forward to DP Tyrant… He had been hiding for eons GETTING HIS POWER BACK.. That was specifically stated on panel. What was also stated.. was that he had gathered up enough power and was no ready to challenge Galactus again.. In fact, the specific terminology used was.. I'm at the HEIGHT OF MY POWERS and can now come out of hiding. Hmmmm seems like you can clearly take that to mean he was AT LEAST as strong as he once was, and could even say even stronger than he was. Hmmmmm…. interesting…. Well then this explains Galactus actions doesn't it.. he can sense power levels with his PC and certainly his own creation. It's only logical to think he would know how powerful Tyrant had become and thus explain HIS ACTIONS… BACKING DOWN from Tyrant the first time they met for fear of the destruction of the universe.. Seems pretty clear he was in fear of Tyrant power NOT his ability to absorb his blasts… He then prepped and feed before battle.. hmmm why.. if he was clearly superior to Tyrant.. why do so? Hmmm maybe because Tyrant had regained his power just like the comic stated and was again a legit threat to Galactus… Ooo yeah.. surfer confirms this very thing as he's felt both of their powers… I must hurry up and get there before THEY BOTH DESTROY EACHOTHER.. Hmmmm more proof of Tyrant power level. You can't ignore the plain presentation and narration of a comic just so you can keep your hierarchy in take the way you see it. IMO Galactus and DP Tyrant are above Odin in power
