Thanos vs Hulk

That's the thing that gets me about the WWH storyline. IT was too underwhelming.

Black Bolt: was a Skrull. Considering Deadpool was solo-ing a ship full of them...

Ghost Rider: PIS. How were the Illuminati not innocent?? It was Miek's fault all the time!

Juggernaut: BFR

Hercules: didn't want to fight.

Thor: wasn't present

Iron Man: PIS (sabotage by those kids)

X-men: the line-ups were...New, Astonishing and....X-Force. Woop-de-do.

Zom-Strange: CIS/PIS/Pak's writing. Zom goes up against the Living Tribunal. Now, allied to the Sorceror Supreme (back when it actually mattered), he defeats him with a falling building?

Sentry: OK, he didn't even output the power of one exploding sun, let alone a million. Unless they were tiny, tiny suns.

Give Me Minute so I can write a very long nice peaceful none insulting post to counter what you just said towards the WWH Storyline....a minute please

Haha, please, don't get me wrong, as you can tell, I'm new here - I'm not saying WWHulk wasn't powerful, or trying to low-ball him. I'm just trying to say that the storyline maybe could have been written better, that's all!

The one thing that gets me about WWH is that even without all that, Hulk is still capable of wrecking a large portion of Marvel Earth anyway. Written well, it could have shown him doing so much damage without being the mess Pak made it.

I was disappointed, especially after how good Planet Hulk was.

The funniest part for me, though, is that if i had been the one to write it, my Hulk would have been more powerful than the one in the comic.

Seconded. So much potential there...

Hulk was powerful in WWH, there's no argument with that. The actual story, though? Not exactly Sinestro Corps War or Annihilation in terms of quality. Or even Planet Hulk quality, imo.

You're right, it was a total let down in comparison to Planet Hulk, as -Pr- mentioned. Pak must have been high when he wrote Planet Hulk, and just before he wrote WW Hulk they brought up the mandatory drug test.

^last page is important

You make it sound as if being caught completely off guard by an enraged cube being's attack and only being temporarily KO'd without much injuries is a low showing.

Her physical form made her vulnerable, that doesn't mean her power output is weak. It takes a lot of power to KO the titan, neither Odin or Galactus were able to do it with one-shot even when they caught him off guard.

Let's also keep in mind the circumstances in their fight. Not only was Thanos caught off guard in the first round, in the second round It wasn't a simple 1 on 1 to the death or KO. Thanos had to be very careful not to kill the physical body, or else they'd all be f*cked if the beyonder's essence escaped the body. In other words the Maker was fighting to kill, but Thanos didn't have that luxury; he was fighting to subdue and contain the Beyonder's essence without killing her body.

But I'm sure people will overlook the context and view beating a potential cube being as a low showing regardless of what I type.

Actually WWH Storyline was my favorite,I mean their was to much destruction to resist!!!

Not up to sc or annihilation but I preferred it over planet hulk, actually.

I liked Planet Hulk better.

At least, up until the stupid twist ending. Same deal with Black Adams story in 52, which was awesome until Johns decided to pull the rug out from under him.

At least the Planet Hulk cartoon has a happier ending.
