As far as Austria goes, I'd recommend not traveling there, at least if you haven't already visited before. That place just doesn't feel right to me.

I'll be in Hamburg and some other small village nearby where a friend lives.
I'll be visiting my dad in Austria, but he's not sure if he wants to do Vienna or maybe Warsaw yet, so I could end up in Poland. He's been to both these places several times before though, so it'll be fine.

Your dad is a strange fellow then. Austria is a downright awful place, as bad as some underdeveloped third world countries I know of.
