Were Batman's weapons strong enough to take down Amazo, or was that particular incarnation of Amazo just weak enough to be taken down by Batman's standard gear? Because those are two completely different things. Batman didn't come out with some supper weapons to take down Amazo in that fight, he used an explosive Batarang, a tiny amount of plastic explosive and a rocket. Batman didn't have the fire power to take down Amazo, Amazo got nerfed so that Batman's standard gear was enough to take him down.

not really, because those same weapons have failed to take down far weaker beings. Do you really wanna use Amazo? I mean come on now, that dude has taken on the justice League before. Fact Batman took him out does not quantify into him possessing the standard equiptment capable of putting Wolverine down who fighting back.
Nor does Batman standard equiptment consistently display the ability to take down such opponents. It like when DS took Superboy down with a standard granade, it not that the granade was that powerful (since we seen them against other opponents) it that superboy durability was written down. Batman standard batrangs do not display such destructive capabilites on anything remotely consistent to that. Now if he had prep or allow to take any thing he wishes as standard euiptment, that would be different.
