What are the best (coolest) death scenes you can think of ?

The inspiration from this thread came from Van Zan's death off the tower jumping towards the male dragon. Talk about testosterone.

LOTR

The Departure of Boromir:

Amon Hen

Death of Boromir

and Denethor's smoldering suicidal dash!

Jack Sparrows death was pretty damn cool.

Shazza (Claudia Black) in Pitch Black.
The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (burning roller coaster).
Anyone who's head exploded in Scanners.
Hanover (Wes Studi) getting slowly eaten by a tentacle in Deep Rising.
Woody Blake (Tim Robbins) in Mission to Mars.
Any Spring Breaker in Pirhana 3D
And of course: Kane (John Hurt) in Alien.

That's all for now.

Major Kong riding the bomb in Dr. Strangelove
Kane in Alien
The woman in Slither who is impregnated by the leeches and grows to gargantuan size only to explode.

I'll post more later.

Kevin Flynn - Tron Legacy - Where he reintegrates CLU.

Roxy Ritcher - Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - Orgasmed to the death..... clearly the greatest way to die in history if nothing else! I want to go this way

Can't disagree with either of your choices.

Every time this topic comes up I always think of this:

YouTube video

Rubbish film but very cool kill.

Curb-stomp in American History X. Even though you don't see much up close, seeing and hearing the guys teeth against the curb before the stomping is eerie.

This is Rob's subliminal way of telling us how much he loves hate crimes.

While I don't condone racial bigotry and murder, let's be honest, that dude had it coming. Stealing another man's car-stereo. Line has to be drawn, sir.

I don't think that death was particularly cool at all. In fact, I'd say its the exact opposite.

The way Seagal took out Tommy Lee Jones in Under Siege was pretty sweet.

It's not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but I thought it was awesome when Ray Stevenson died in King Aurther. Breaking the ice cover of a frozen lake so the pursuing army couldn't fallow King Aurther then falling into the frozen waters. But I'm a sucker for those manly sacrificial deaths.

the death of Lord Cutler Beckett in POTC.

Boromir Boromir Boromir Boromir ****ING BOROMIR.

Oh yeah, Tron Legacy, who could forget that?

My eyes popped out in the theater when I saw that reintegration.

Arnie in T2.

Tony Montana Scarface.

The end of "The Wild Bunch."
