Sorry, but how does that refute my main point? Quite a few people called Surfer a coward whenever his fight with Bill is brought up, not just in this thread, but in many past threads. It doesn't matter whether one person does or twenty, my main point still stands regardless of how many people have this bias. Try to make your red herring less obvious next time.

I have to say, I really despise these kind of arguments where posters say "they" or "a few people" or "KMC" or another generalized group of posters hates x character or downplays/lowballs said character.

So how does this refute my main point? You seem to be focusing on a very arbitrary portion of my post, which to be honest I didn't put much though into writing, and hence doesn't matter? Another red herring?

I just don't see the point of arguing "Well, this person(s) says Surfer's tactic makes him a pussy, so how come Thor's hammer tactic doesn't make him a pussy?" to begin with.

They're both valid techniques and it's really nothing to argue about, much less claim there's one more person or several who think that way and call them out.

I think they're valid techniques if used in mid-battle too, but of course there are people who disagree. But I don't see how calling people out on their double standards is pointless?

It's not so much calling people out on their double standards that's pointless, but it's vague generalizations of groups of anywhere from a couple to several people who all share some kind of agenda to push. And from what I've read in this thread, there doesn't seem to be multiple people calling Surfer a pussy; just one.

So in other words you're ignoring my main point, and just focusing on the arbitrary part of the post that doesn't matter? It's a little weird that you're so fixated on a small trivial part of my initial post. It's even more strange you were able to extrapolate so much from it that appears false? Shared agenda?
