Hector vs Maximus

Since it was agreed that Maximus would get smashed by Achilles, How does he do Against Hector?

Re: Hector vs Maximus

He wins probably. While Maximus' giant wasn't as large as Hector's, he had tigers to deal with too.

True but Hector was faster , younger and more athletic

Faster, not so sure; they're probably about the same. The fight before Maximus goes to Rome and quickly/effortlessly takes out five gladiators shows his speed and skill.

Hector is younger though, you got that.

I'm slightly favoring Hector here.

I say Hector, only because he came close to killing the great Achilles several times.

He actually didn't come close.

He was never even remotely close to killing Achilles. Not one single time.

Yeah Achilles was just toying with him, still Hector put up a good fight.

Hectors speed, strength and youth would give him the edge over Maximus.

Turns out they were both 36 during their films. So I take that back, Hector doesn't have anything over Maximus; he loses to a superior fighter that Maximus is.

When did Maximus prove Superior?

When did Maximus prove Superior?

-When he effortlessly tore through five gladiators.

-When he took control and turned the tide into what would have been a slaughter in the first Colosseum fight.

-When he fought and defeated an ex-champion while simultaneously having to watch his back for tigers.

-When he defeated Commodos despite being stabbed prior and walking into the fight with one foot in the grave.

that.

None of those opponents were on Hectors level

I get it, you saw that the MVF is highly active today and you made a sock-account to troll, no problem. You're using Quanchi's tactics though, you need to try something less obvious.

Yeah in light of these feats I'm going to go with Maximus.

Still love Hector though.

Achilles' own words seal Maximus' fate. What we see hector do in combat while tearing through man after man and easily killing his cousin makes me believe someone Achilles respected it just slightly above Maximus.

^ Achilles said "Hector was the best he fought".
