Cyclops beat Wolverine h2h during the first Proteus saga. A Wolverine that had all his abilities. Now you want to put him against one of the greatest & most experienced warriors in the Marvel Universe - even depowered - Thor?
Uh-uh.
Cyclops was still the X-Men resident martial artist during the Proteus saga with his "judo" skills. That was prior to Wolverine's back story was developed and his combat skills (and powers) were fleshed out.

Never been to the The Beguiling, it's a bit out of my way. Hows it compare to the Silver Snail?
Smaller, little merchandise to sell like toys but high quality. It share space with an indie bookstore downstairs that has lots of great books you won't usually find at major bookchains.

* so when Wolverine's back story was developed and his combat skills were fleshed out, does that mean - Wolverine's defeat from Cyclops becomes null and void? 😕

How did this thread turn into a bodybuilding contest, anyway?
The fact is, Wolverine is a much smaller man than Thor despite his muscles. All this talk about how he would be bigger if he was scaled up to Thor's height is irrelevant to the central discussion.
Because the Wolverine side didn't like the idea that Thor was taller and larger and thus likely much stronger since this is w/o any powers.

^Srank's argument was that Thor would not have a huge strength/weight advantage because he feels Wolverine's build is much wider. It's a relevant point if they grapple. The discussion's ok.
As Thor is both Larger and taller as any direct comparison shows, then Thor does indeed have a noticeable weight and likely strength edge.

This is what I was arguing to be the case on average, art wise.
Srank feels if they were humanized there would be only 40-50 lbs weight difference however. That's still big, but considering its 5'3" vs 6'6", that's not a huge difference.
