I remember the day insane Superman fans were considered the worst... If they're out there, I haven't seen any on KMC yet.

Are you serious, bro?

Mine too. That, and The Beguiling off Bloor Street..

Never been to the The Beguiling, it's a bit out of my way. Hows it compare to the Silver Snail?

Cyclops beat Wolverine h2h during the first Proteus saga. A Wolverine that had all his abilities. Now you want to put him against one of the greatest & most experienced warriors in the Marvel Universe - even depowered - Thor?
Uh-uh.

Cyclops was still the X-Men resident martial artist during the Proteus saga with his "judo" skills. That was prior to Wolverine's back story was developed and his combat skills (and powers) were fleshed out.

All 500 of them? Surely, some of it was fleshed out in the 27,000 team and guest appearances each month?

Smaller, little merchandise to sell like toys but high quality. It share space with an indie bookstore downstairs that has lots of great books you won't usually find at major bookchains.

* so when Wolverine's back story was developed and his combat skills were fleshed out, does that mean - Wolverine's defeat from Cyclops becomes null and void? 😕

It means Cyclops is the premier hth combatant in MArvel, and that judo >>>>all.

Of course.

Wolverine is the best there is at what he does. 😱

And what he does is retcon his origin every year.

I guess what we need is a photorealistic artist - someone like dell'Otto, Alex Ross, or Greg Land (who just traces photos). Then we can compare.

How did this thread turn into a bodybuilding contest, anyway?
The fact is, Wolverine is a much smaller man than Thor despite his muscles. All this talk about how he would be bigger if he was scaled up to Thor's height is irrelevant to the central discussion.

Because the Wolverine side didn't like the idea that Thor was taller and larger and thus likely much stronger since this is w/o any powers.

^Srank's argument was that Thor would not have a huge strength/weight advantage because he feels Wolverine's build is much wider.

It's a relevant point if they grapple. The discussion's ok.

Because facts are the only real solid advantage Thor supporters have left. He's bigger and stronger, maybe not pound for pound but that's irrelevant here.

There's a reason we have weight classes in martial arts.

As Thor is both Larger and taller as any direct comparison shows, then Thor does indeed have a noticeable weight and likely strength edge.

Unless the next argument is that Thor is mainly fat...

This is what I was arguing to be the case on average, art wise.

Srank feels if they were humanized there would be only 40-50 lbs weight difference however. That's still big, but considering its 5'3" vs 6'6", that's not a huge difference.
