diggity for sure

Any one else get a Top Guns feel from it?

I got an erection, if that's what you mean.

Did anyone else get a message about global warming from this movie?

Yes.

I didn't

only reason i brought it up is, I read a review which mentions it.

Only message I got is that we need to start building giant mechas.

Ya, to fight global warming. It's pretty clear thats the message Del Toro was trying to send. He's pretty much a second Jesus, saving us from our **** ups. Whata guy!

In the opening prologue, yes. But then things take a darker turn.

movie was badass. pretty much exactly what i expected.

that Mako chick was badass too, but kinda annoying.

This movie was great.

I liked it more than IM3, MoS, and possibly Start Trek.

eh, I'd say...

MoS
Into Darkness
Pacific Rim
IM3

in order of enjoyment.

He looks almost exactly like Garrett Hedlund (Which is funny, since Charlie was aiming to look like Brad Pitt from Fight Club with this role, and Garrett played Brad's cousin Patroclus in Troy.)

Yeah, I wonder what my ex-girlfriend in Oz thinks about the Aussie accents. I thought Hercules Hanson sounded spot on, and he was played by the American actor Max Martini. The Russian duo, only Heather Doerksen had any lines, so I wonder how Russian audiences will hear her.

Oh really? I never knew that, that's interesting to know. It's funny that you say that, I've got a friend who thought he looked like Garrett Hedlund in Tron.

I'm Australian and thought they could be over the top sometimes, they were like the stereotypical Aussie but you're right Hercules sounded good.

Hmmm, I wonder.

Anyone who thinks that, doesn't watch SoA.

Anyone who doesn't watch SoA isn't worth your time.

You liked MoS the most...LOL

What I don't get is, what idiot thought a wall was gonna stop godzilla beasts? And which idiots agreed with him?

As a bit of climatology nerd, I lol'd. One of the theories of dinosaurs' extinction was that sulfur from Dekkan volcanoes killed them. BTW volcanoes also deplete ozone layer faster than everything manmade.

So atmosphere rich in gases from Indian volcanoes (nowadays their remnants are on the bottom of Indian ocean east to Madagascar)= bad for Kaiju masters? Atmosphere with much less carbon dioxide than in dinosaurs era =good? Sounds like someone got their climatology backwards.

Also, regarding Russian dub. Alexei and Sacha were also dubbed there.

.

Hercules sounded off to me with his Australian accent, Chuck Hansen was more spot on.

Kaz, you don't know what a aussie sounds like, mate.

You probably think all Aussies sound like Steve Irwin.

And I would be correct.
