I really don't get what's the problem with using Supers to win. It's a unique, yet fun way to win matches.
Maybe the reason other folks didn't do this with their fighters is probably because it's risky for it's either a win or a lose. Sure each hit would matter as you get close to winning using your Super but what if you missed and it made everything you did before pointless? Everything that happened before unlocking that Lv1 or Lv2, the game would treat nothing happened and as that short ass timer reaches zero, you accomplished nothing. But if there was a health bar/damage total, then each hit would matter as you're close to either killing them or knocking them off the stage but we don't have that which is the problem.
Plus, what do you mean by "lazy"? I don't see what you mean by that.
Well since Sony was riding Nintendo's coat tails on this, I'm just gonna say at least in Smash Bros., should someone hit somebody with the same attack over and over, that attack wouldn't be as effective the first time it was used but in All-Stars, that's ignored and players abusing Kratos, Radec, and anyone else OP are actually rewarded for their cheap tactics when they reach their Lv3s faster than anyone else while we have to actually work for ours. I should know. I played Kratos before and I never thought I'd reach Lv3 and win that easy.

Well, just learn how and when to use your supers on opponents. It's that simple. Plus, there's always the chance to reach Lvl 3.

I don't see that as "laziness", especially since all they gotta do is buff/nerf characters. Either way, both of these things aren't good enough reasons for wanting to sell the game.
New DLC characters coming out next month will be Zeus from God of War and Isaac Clarke from Dead Space.
Okay so apparently you'll get Isaac and Zeus for free if you buy God of War Ascension. Bonus!
Damn. Why wasn't he the boss in PSASBR?
After EA threatened to lay off most of Visceral's staff, possibly shutting it down no doubt due to the disappointing sales for the latest entry of Dead Space, Isaac's inclusion is clearly for marketing purposes (look, he's even wearing his arctic suit) but given their position, I don't blame them for their act of desperation here.
Btw, his supers are weak. A charged plasma cutter and a shockwave? Really? It would've been more creative if Isaac was exposed to the Marker and was temporarily insane and saw everyone on the stage as a Necromorph, increasing his damage output, or summon the Hunter seen in Dead Space 1. I do like his Level 3 however. Going out the airlock and floating in space definitely feels like the games he originated from.

Your idea for Isaac's super sounds more fitting for a Level 3 than a 1 or 2 (and I happen to also like his Level 3) so I can't really go with that.
Well the Hunter can be a Level 2 equivalent to Heihachi summoning Kuma the bear or maybe the Hunter or a different Necromorph can appear as a Level 1 and slash anyone in front of Isaac. As for the Marker, yeah that's definitely a Level 3 but maybe it doesn't have to be so cinematic to be one like maybe Level 2 will give Isaac a rage mode like Big Daddy and glow red but have alien glyphs float around him and shout a bunch of profanity, giving us the hint he's going crazy.
Smash Bros.. Why Smash Bros., Sony? You just couldn't mimic Anarchy Reigns or something. Oh no, always go for gameplay in a popular Nintendo product. Kratos and Nathan are a pain in the ass, btw. And the guns! If not for Sony fighting used games and doing this online pass bullshit, I would sell this. Can't sell because if I did, I may as well sell a game with locked multiplayer for a dollar. God bless the game industry!

Welcome to Sony's business model.
"LIKE NINTENDO. BUT NOT AS GOOD."
They snatch the superficial elements of things Nintendo does and ignore the cores of those things that actually make them work. shrug

...Don't know where all of this came from but anyway...
People have said that they've been wanting Sony to have their own version of Smash Bros. for a while and they (Sony) pulled it off just fine without looking like a clone. Besides, there's lot of other games besides this one. Heck, Smash Bros. itself isnt' even the first of its kind (the Outfoxies came first).
In the end, every company is influenced by something and that's how it's always been.

"Pulled it off just fine" my arse. The constant use of supers ruin the experience. It's downright irritating and All-Stars is better off a clone than what Superbot made it: a mess.

And the more it's copied, the more the formula can deteriorate apparently.

The supers didn't ruin anything. I really never got a reason for why the supers is just a bad idea. People are just complaining because it's something different.

Well in this case, it's not copied. It's just merely influenced and like I said, many things are influenced by others even to this day but nobody is growing tired of it. That's because in the end, it's easily disguishable from its influence (like this game for example).

Maybe the supers would be more appropriate if they were used as an alternative means of wiping out other players and not the main thing to take out the competition. They're too easy to get with certain characters and are a spammable offense and it sure as hell doesn't help when all these shooter characters get to them just as fast as Ry--I mean Kratos.
Would've been a lot better if there were health bars and in order to get a super, you'd have to score a certain amount of kills. That or try to catch the flying Playstation logo that appears at random times.
