But Lobo outright admitted Guy beat him in Guy Gardner #08. 😮💨 (Specifically, he said it was a fluke win.)
The fight looked like a stalemate to me too, but for the main man to admit a defeat, there must be some off panel pwning we didn't see happen... Either that, or Guy had enough of an upper hand based on what we did see to classify it as a win to both characters. And he DID have the upper hand there..
Anyways, he still did far, far, far better than Superman did at the time.

Lobo was tanking shots from Despero that ish too.
And he took a loss in Guy Gardner #08. But only because his ring ran out of juice. If it hadn't, it looked like he would have sent Lobo into orbit with a rocket construct (Got him as far as the upper atmosphere)
So it's basically 2 for 2, and Gardner has the edge with power ring fights.
