logan has
- beaten the grey hulk
- cut the red hulk to ribbons
- beat abomination in a few panels
- gone right through gladiator's whole body with his claws
- nearly killed the sub-mariner
- demonstrated greater combat speed than thor
that's just a sample, but more than enough. without any gear & in a unfamiliar environment....logan, through stealth, could win this.

I think it's funny that people are pretending Wolverine was beaten there.... because he is completely fine when Thor shows up.
Well I can understand. Wolverine looks like he's at the least about to lost the fight, and he's all beat up looking compared to Ulik who appears fresh as a daisy and none the worse for wear. There just isn't much there to take at face value unless you think Wolverine really can't cut Ulik, First Class isn't for kids, and beating on 80's Wolverine is the same as beating on current Wolverine. 😬
