Okay, that happened, but what does that have to do with strength? You're comparing striking power and durability and using it as an indication of strength, and not only that, to prove that Gladiator is > Thor in it? That's not smart.

That's why I don't compare with strength feats as they vary so much. Do you want to do a comparison BZ? Because that's the only way to do it.

I guess Colossus is substantially tougher and stronger than Thor.

I guess Thor is substantially stronger than Sentry. Since he one shot Namor on accident in pouring rain as opposed to:

And while comparisons is certainly one way to do it, feats is another. And Gladiator cannot match Thor in direct strength feats. And this is a guy who gets most of his strength and striking feats overlooked thanks to using Mjolnir 95% of the time. So it's not the only way to do it, it's the only way you WANT to do it. Because you know who's stronger lol.

I guarantee you that were Savage Hulk and Hercules to be equalized in strength , Hercules would hit harder, because he's better at punching. So it's not a direct comparison of "strength" per say. Hence a boxer and a body builder.

Namor was weakened as shown on very next page and wasn't even koed.

Gladiator isn't touted as a skilled warrior like Hercules for majority of career.
BTW, Hercules is shown as more skilled than Thor and equal in strength, so he hits harder than Thor by that logic, eh?
Has Thor ever KO someone stronger than him by using only his fists and no mallet strikes or mallet powers at all?
Logic dictates that If Thor were physically equal of Glads or Hulk, he will then have a clear advantage over them, it will be a one sided fight, however that is not the case. It is often portrayed on this cases that Thor needs the mallet to close the strength gap.
Is not the same way portrayed as when he fights guys more around his strength level. Hulk and Glads will be a 10 while Thor will be an 8 or 9 that has to compensate with his mallet to 10 as soon as the mallet comes out of the picture thor has problems. IMO anyhow.
But Thor does has the feats after all he has the books to out feat b characters like Super clone Glads which for obvious reasons will be destined to lose vs marvel premier characters. IMO.
Just stating my POV not having strength or time to debate so please don't ask. If I had both I will gladly jump in as I believe it easy to show that Hulk is stronger than Thor, Glads is a little bit more tricky though.

The tree is iffy too as in an esoteric/magical item that it has been portrayed on different sizes as well.
Being generous the tree I believe will be the size of a moon and being non generous it will be just a large tree.
But the tree it has not been shown to have a constant size. It is more like a magical representation or avatar
