it doesn't show how they took each other out?

So are Black Panther and Storm officially broken up?

Yup.

Aw.

Well I can't blame BP after what Namor did to Wakanda. But I don't think he should associate his actions and generalize it to all the X-men.

👆

Ororo hasn't done anything but try and help the situation that I know of. And it's not like she can just turn her back on the organization she's been with forever. T'challa was to hasty with the divorce.

But this isnt some little side group. She was queen of a sovereign nation. If the x-men are to come before her people, than she should not have been queen in the first place.

Pretty much, I never liked their marriage to begin with but as Queen she should put her people before the X-men.

Don't know if you still needed an answer to this? I'll reply anyway. It wasn't shown, they glare at each other, then the huge Phoenix-like explosion and *poof* they were out cold. Typical anti-climactic ending Marvel has almost become synonymous with these days.

Figures. "Hey you know what readers would love? If we screwed them out of seeing two phoenix force wielders fights. That'll raise sales." thanks anyway.

Really? I never really read much aside from a few comics here and there where that Wakandan chick became a BP, so I'm not really sure how they handled the marriage. They always seemed perfect to me, so I'm guessing this break-up was for the best then?

Honestly, their marriage always seemed like a publicity thing to me. A racially charged publicity stunt.

Looking back, I'm surprised T'Challa and Ororo lasted as long as they did. Complete clash of personalities and goals and not in a complimenting fashion like in the vein of Susan and Reed.

To me, I thought they always existed in an opposites attract sort of way. Bad example, but sort of like how things would've turned out if Superman were to marry Batman. They're opposites! But look how they jostle eachother about and make things work! Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.

same, they didn't have the chemistry to make it seem like more.

The story is bad but can we all agree that Spider-man soloing 1/2 of the Phoenix force was awesome.

Awesome Spider-Man moment.

Out of all the possible choices (Waid, Hickman, Gillen etc.) Marvel chooses Jason Aaron to take over Thor next. They've been trying really hard lately to lose any old school Thor fans.

All of Aaron's work suggests he'd be an uncomfortable fit for a super serious, non-street level character like Thor.

Better than Aquaman and his girl, that's for sure biscuits
