I couldn't be happier!
The original team is my childhood. And my fondest memory of comics. Maybe I'm alone but I absolutely love this idea.

But if they screw this up! I will officially stop reading Marvel Comics. It will be their last straw.
And I will seek vengeance.

Nice to see that even in the simulation Thor goes down.

It's written by Bendis.

I was more shocked as to how the Scarlet Witches manipulations were useless on Phoenix Scott.

It really puts those epic debates in Comic vs Fights between Scarlet Witch and the Phoenix Force to rest.

Though the Scarlett team will simply blame the ill writing to enforce their views.

Does the simulation count last issue then?

Thor got one-shotted and Wolverine outlasted him but by the end of the fight his adamantium skeleton was trashed.

I added it in the battle list on the previous page.

OMFG. Please, please let this AvX event be nothing but a dream or a What If type event.

1/2 the PF vs Cap's Shield, Cap's shield wins. 😘

* highly possible... look who's "watching" ---

* browsing through readers' comments about AvX #10, and somehow, some of them has sympathy on the character of Cyclops, i mean, who isn't? the character's been given bad light in the past arcs...

[we don't even get a slight explanation as to why the f*ck Hope is still fighting Cyclops or why Cyclops is suddenly becoming so corrupt? Did the events of Infinite Comics #2 suddenly get retconned? And why is Hope trusting the people who didn't do sh*t for her when she came back from the future and have no experience dealing with the Phoenix? Hell, Wolverine tried to f*cking kill her! Is there any f*cking logic behind this fight anymore aside from pitting Marvel's top movie property against the one that Fox is intent on f*cking over every which way and rubbing it in their face?]

[Everytime they paint Cyclop as a bad guy I hate the avengers more. He is not a bad guy, he's trying to make the avenger prisoner long enough for people to realise he is not the bad guy, but they always fight him and attack him.

Then he gets annoyed with it and it's the "SEE, we knew you were the bad guy".

The Avengers are big bullies so far in this event.]

[Cyclops wasn't being corrupted in the last 5 issues. He was always saying he didn't wanted to kill people and all. The others were being corrupted. I just don't like how the Avengers are big jerk and bullies.

And even if Cyclops is becoming corrupted, it's because they decided that way, they decided to wrtie it that way. I just don't like how they want their precious Avengers to be the big shinning hero at all cost.]

* very interesting... 🙂

Those are the same guys that call beast and wolverine traitors to their own race. A lot of x-men fans now sound like magneto in how they post lol

Cyclops is becoming corrupt because he is being manipulated by the Phoenix Force, which historically corrupts it's host... which is the entire point of this stupid event in the first place. The Avengers and Wolverine were all like "Dude... the Phoenix Force is dangerous and there is a big chance who ever it comes to will go nuts and kill everyone. Maybe we should keep Hope away from it? (or the Wolverine variation... "Probably safer just to kill her."😉 And Cyclops was all "ZOMG guys! Just because every other time the Phoenix showed up the host went crazy and tried to destroy the earth doesn't mean that's what will happen this time! Rachel managed to control a small portion of the Phoenix Force! Remember? It was after that time the Phoenix Force drove her completely insane and she almost destroyed all of existence and the X-Men barely managed to stop it? I think this time the Phoenix Force is here to save the mutant race, so I'm going to roll the dice. Time for war." Then five members got possessed by the Phoenix Force and started going completely crazy... as usual. Wolverine and the Avengers were proven right a long time ago, Marvel has dropped any pretense of the "Both sides have a point and neither side is wrong" a long time ago.

I always love the arguements "the avenger initiated it". If you have to walk on eggshells around the Phoenix five from jump street, that says a lot about how sane they are.

* in another note, is it safe to say that Marvel always favors the Avengers over the X-men? Reed Richards offers his comment as: the Avengers are getting hurt because they are the ones who's always keep "poking the P5 with a stick", so let them be, and if the P5 went insane, that's tomorrow's problem... so far as to say that Reed also reminded Steve and Tony how they threatened the Earth because of their quarrel in Civil War...

* you can add Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to the fray... 😛

I think it's pretty obvious The Avengers (Tony and Cap) provoked this "war" with the X-men.

And Cyclops is indeed being corrupted, but only as a result of the actions of The Avengers.

As a general rule, if Wolverine's on your side against X-Men, then you're in the wrong.

Cyclops and the X-Men jumped the shark completely.

Cap and the Avengers were being reasonable as far as Hope's involvement was, but Cyke someone got it into his head that this time, the Phoenix Force would be a good thing and not turn them all into psychos.

This event pretty much made the mutant community look like self serving bastards and the X-Men are easily (and rightfully) vilified in the conflict.

What gets me is x-men lines like "where were the avengers when our children were dying"? Excuse me but where were the x-men when kang was nuking whole city and the avengers had to surrender the world for a few months?

The X-Men want to stand on their own feet and take care of their own as far as mutant issues go, but then b1tch about how no one tries to help them or Cap didn't do enough for the mutants. He only vouched for two former mutant terrorists and went to bat for them multiple times, both of whom are mainstays of the Avengers outside of the founders.

X-Men have always been butt hurt about the Avengers, though.

Yep.

Children of the most infamous mutant terrorist on the planet. Given shelter, protection, and a good name by the Avengers. Then this is all forgotten?

Not to mention he's had multiple mutants on the team. Cap ran in front of Thanos to try and save Cyclops' life for goodness sake. 😂 This event is horrible.

* the X-men has many lapses... most of them never even took sides when Civil War was going, but that was understandable... the mutant community also has problems on its own... but the X-men's lapses are also the writer's lapses, since when they were creating storylines about world domination, and if the Avengers surrenders, there's no one to help them but themselves... i believe --- storyline aside --- that when there's a worldwide threat, even if the Avengers needed help or not, the X-men would help them (on the writer's note: the X-men should help them)... that's supposed to be their motto: to protect those who hates and fears them, and that includes both human and mutantkind...

But they Avengers didn't hate or fear them before this Phoenix crap...
