Avengers vs. X-Men - 2012 Marvel Event

Which is why Scott and Cap are douches now.

The supposed greatest leaders of their respective teams and they decided to wage war instead of creating a think tank to figure this out.....

Was it possible?

Logan had half the mutants under his leadership and he feared the Phoenix rightfully. And the Avengers would've done anything Cap said.

What was the basis for Scott's assumption that the Phoenix Force was his races savior? Basic SWORD imput through Beast would've revealed that the Phoenix was destroying planets like crazy.

Cap should have walked away. A direct attack on Utopia was the act of war Scott wanted.
And Scott played his bluff and it payed off thanks to Ironman seperating the Phoenix Force.

Though issues of X-men showed that if Hope had her 5 friends there she could've handled the force.......

Now she's the Iron Fist and kicking ass. So I don't what the hell is going on now.

Seriously I predicted Danny Rand to become the eventual hero of this arc. And that possiblity is now looking grim.

More like your in the right when someone such as Wolverine has witnessed what the Phoenix force can do to a person.

And nothing reeks of crap like Marvel making money.....dammit.

All this reminds me of the 90's Xmen years. When the cartoon was making a tonne of money. Eventually sent Marvel bankrupt! Shame Disney is paying the cheques. Back then going broke meant writing better stories.

All this reminds me of the 90's Xmen years. When the cartoon was making a tonne of money. Eventually sent Marvel bankrupt! Shame Disney is paying the cheques. Back then going broke meant writing better stories.

They went broke in 90s due to alot of factors many of which were their own mistakes.

Yeah and those mistakes are happenin now!

Not in the movie dept though. Which originally sent them broke until Blade came into the picture thanks to Avi Arad.

But the comics and cartoons will suffer.

i haven't posted in years, but i though i'd dust off the account.

mostly just to say that this event is a garbage nightmare. in more ways than one. not only is the writing junk, not only is the plot questionable at best, but they are actually ruining a beloved character. joss whedon (and to a lesser extent, grant morrison) worked very hard to make cyclops an interesting, popular, and credible personality. after decades of being the "boy scout", cyclops finally gained dimension. this event is shitting all over the work they did.

Storms lightning can be 6x the temperature of the suns surface and BP can redirect it? Has this always been the case? 😕

Lightening in general is six times (I think it might be closer to five but whatever) hotter than the surface of the sun, it's not unique to Storm.

Marvel has other books out that aren't even part of the event and those have better quality.

That wasn't my point.

The cartoons and comics will suffer through the success of the films. Which are making money.

A greedy Marvel is a fail Marvel.....I'll leave it there. And as I said before...a prediction. Marvel Now is shaping up to be that prediction I quoted.
