But Cain himself has gotten hurt without his force field himself. Shatter star poked his eye out. which he healed from. He has gotten reduced to bones. (but still kept on fighting) he got hurt by Thor's punches when the shield went down.
I don't think it's possible for Colossus who appears in a monthly comic to be written as someone who does not get hurt at all...there is nothing heroic about someone who does not feel any pain at all. Heroes need to look like they are struggling, the x-men especially need to look like underdogs to heighten the sense of drama.
He is in a team book and powerhouses job in team settings. ( Surfer, Thor, Cain himself, Hulk, etc...) He has no solo book where he can rack up feats, nor is he a villian or someone like Hulk who will go up against teams of heroes.
The writter said he has his mutant powers stacked on top of cain's powers, so we know the writer's intent. Will that translate into feats? i have no idea. but being on the x-men, there is no way he will be written as someone who thrashes all of the avengers by himself unless he turns into a villian or becomes an uncontrollable monster. He is a fully powered Avatar of cyttorak who will most probably job due to him being a hero stuck in a team who are supposed to be underdogs. and with no solo book, he cant look like he is the only one on the team needed to beat the enemy.

what excuse? i didn't say Colossus wins. I am pointing out that even if he is fully powered by the gem, he will get hurt. that is a given...
look at surfers powerset he is supposed to be all powerful. but they stuck him on the defenders and he had to job against attuma since he is on a team. and the worthy needed to look like big time threats. written w/o pis strange surfer and namor combined should beat an asgardian god of thor's level. assuming attuma is at thor's level. if he is weaker that makes it even more stupid.
explain to me thor being on the same team as hawkeye. hawkeye gives the avengers the win sometimes. that's thor jobbing too.. with thor's abilites they needed all of the avenger's to beat moses magnum? really? but both thor and surfer have solo books where they can cut loose. Colossus does not.

Wasn't the Shatterstar thing retconned? Or am I thinking of when Deadpool stabbed him in the eye?
And wasn't it D'Sparye or a similar entity that reduced Juggernaut to bones?
You guys are missing the point. I was talking about the sentinel scan.
It's similar to this. This is just wolverine throwing a class 70 teenage Colossus knocking down classic juggs. He got knocked down. So what?
I'm pretty sure the sentinel is stronger than both wolverine and teenage Colossus since warmachine needed full power to break his grip.
or this. This is the only thing i was saying. Colossus will get knocked down during his career as the juggernaut. If you guys are expecting Colossus to just keep on walking and pushing everyone out of his way, its not going to happen. Especially in a team setting where everyone needs to look like they contribute for the team to win. Same with Hope or Magik. w/o pis they can solo a lot of villians by themselves like thor or surfer. but they won't.
