Ah. You and I are thinking of two completely different and separate occasions where Superman lifted a black hole - Mine was from JLA #77, which was included as part of the Rules of Engagement GN. That now makes THREE occasions of lifting infinity lol.
Thanks for the clarification of what happens, but it still doesn't explain how containment decreases mass, any more than a straitjacket makes me lighter....

All Hal did was form a construct around the earth/Supes. Superman, and Superman alone, exerted the forces required to pull it against the opposing forces Starbreaker was exerting .
Hulk brought up his strength having a play in that Universe being destroyed (in which it did).
Where was it stated on panel.that Hal didn't do anything during that ft?

Post the scans.of what you are talking about please.

Pulling the actual planet was ALL Superman. Read the comic.

So Hal wasn't pulling?

That's a cute little place.

😕 ..wow. That's all I have got to say about that. I'm just tired of arguing about team fts...so tired of it. You can have that ft along with any other ft you want.
Its a black hole.
Black holes are infinite in mass.
Half of infinity is still...well, infinity. Assuming of course, that Stewart was doing 50% of the effort, but judging from the casual way he's talking and0 the thickness of his construct's beam, I'm assuming that he's not. But feel free to argue that he is doing more than 50% of the work, please do.
If it was anything else (lifting the Earth, 150 billion ton mountain etc) and Superman did it with help - well, I will concede, and there is no way I would claim it all 100% as Superman's feat.
Basically, Carver wants you to remove any feat of Superman's that requires flight, has assistance in any way, even if said assistance isn't contributing much less taking away from Superman's strength, get rid of anything that borders on the absurd, even for comics, and accept that Hulk is the strongest one there is.

What do you want? A scan in which Hal explicitly tells Superman to pull the earth harder, or something?
I'm well aware of the scene...I want to see something stating that Hal didn't participate in pulling the Earth which would be stupid since he is well capable of pulling things with his contructs. Why wouldn't he help Superman when its within his power to do so? Alan, I usually agree with almost everything you say but this one...oh hell naw.
Originally posted by JakeTheBankTe funny thing is Carver wants to include combat related feats where Hulk has someone else's help in achieving. I do think Hulk is stronger than Superman that's always been obvious but feats have never ever confirmed it and the manner in which carver selects or ignores feats indicates hypocrisy. It's easy to spot out.
