Just finished watching all this. What a Great show but such a depressing show. Would have preferred if they ended it with season 2 when Spartacus finally got his vengeance, pulling off one of his miracle victories in that episode, and then just said in the end before the credits that that Spartacus and all his Rebels were eventually slaughtered by Legions of Romans or something like that.

I know what you mean. I really enjoyed the show too, but the ending was such a downer.

The ending was the best. That amazing fight, the hero's sacrifice, Gannicus' death. Naevia getting killed. Great.

That finale has really put my mood down. I'm still thinking about it.

Why? Gannicus had one of the best character-deaths in existence. 👆

Poor Gannicus knew from Day 1 they were on a suicide mission. That's why he was always really reluctant to be involved.

I would have preferred a death where he takes a dozen people out with him.

How would you compare the BNDF (Bare Naked Dicks Factor) between the seasons?
