Aquaman vs The Lizard

Aquaman did the seizure trick to a White Martian. No way Lizard's tp offers him protection from that, if a White Martians didn't.

He was also, at one point, successfully reversing Doctor Polaris' schizophrenia.

As recent as issue 4, Aquaman moved a piece of land the size of a small mountain to seal off the trench. And you don't want to see the kinds of things we was doing pre-reboot.

A bullet barely breaking the skin is not exactly proof that Aquaman can be harmed by bullets to the extent it would make a difference in a fight. And Aquaman has taken shots from Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter. And if we purely go post reboot, there's the magma vent exploding in his face, destroying his "armour" but leaving him unfazed bar a few cuts and bruises.

Aquaman fights underwater. A tail isn't going to make a huge bit of difference tbh.

So you want to go just post reboot then, even though Johns wrote Brightest Day Aquaman too?

Btw, Aquaman doesn't just have animal telepathy; he has normal telepathy too. Calling on some lizards is nice and all, but calling on stuff like great whites and blue whales is the kind of shit Aquaman does casually, and in greater numbers.

Could you post the scan of the magma vent and the pieve of land if we're talking about about the same stuff that wasn't so impressive imo but only if we're thinking of the same things.

the fight is on a bridge so Aquaman will fight on land IDK why you assume why they fight in water.

Just to make sure all my points are for reboot + on land fighting Aquaman, if the fight is in water or we use post crisis AM he stomps yeah.

It's from issue 4, we probably are talking about the same thing. Why don't you think it's that impressive?

I was stating the fact that a tail isn't going to make much of a difference to a guy who used to regulaly fight mermen.

Post reboot Aquaman has had like eight appearances, and wouldn't even be valid on this forum if we use just those appearances.

The "he gets weak on land" thing hasn't existed in over a decade, and currently he actually lives above water.

Well it is impressive but I have a hard time believing that piece was mountain sized, if you look at it his head was near the cliff (last panel before it collapsed, before that he was pretty much in the center bad art here) and when he pushes the ground not far behind him the entire thing starts to crack that's far more than Lizard has ever displayed I'll give you that. and the vent is actualy blowing off in the face of that big ass monster, Aquaman has actually a fair distance, no lava is reaching AM and only his shoulder armor is torn apart.

As for the tail usage

But again my very first post here was on current versions of both if we use older stuff as in post crisis we can end this cause I agree that this is a non fight.

We also see when it starts to move how big it is compared to the wall Mera was carrying. That, and it had to be big enough to seal the trench too. Aquaman was right beside the monster when the vent went off on the splash page; it looked like he was hit by the explosion to me.

I'm not saying that the tail can't be used well, just that it's not going to be something that Aquaman hasn't faced before.

For me, the current version of Aquaman is just as powerful as he was pre-reboot, because from what I can see Johns has made him as powerful as he was during Brightest Day, and is continuing with that consistency.
