Thing is though, is there any doubt that Bee's Biju Bomb was not the bulk of that blast's power?

Without it, I don't see it being destroyed, definitely not before people die.

Also, everyone but Naruto and Sasuke are IMHO non-factors.

Actually, I doubt Amaterasu could take it out. Sasuke's arrows would help though. And if he has it prepared already for whatever reason, Kirin would work.

That was a CT from a rejuvenated Nagato, not a Deva Path that needs to be close to Nagato just to use the move. It was also overkill IMO; Itachi used something other than Amaterasu.

Sasuke's Amaterasu sword would really be what he'd used probably.

We don't know if the full might they used was really required. They had all three, but for all we know two of them, or even just the biju ball, would've been enough.

There was no time for testing so they went for broke.

Of note though, once enough material has gathered around the core, even a fairly powered up Bijuu Ball wouldn't suffice. 6 Tailed Kyuubi tried and failed to destroy the core.
So yeah, if enough time passes, you'd need much more than a Bijuu Ball to get to the core and then bust it.

If Naruto had multiple KCM clones out, they could all throw Rasenshurikens.

Hm, and of course, with the latest developments, he may be able to do a true biju ball or biju rasengan.

And yeah, Tobi could intercept the Rasenshurikens, by tanking for CT's core.

Izanagi doesn't exactly 'tank' stuff. It'll let you survive, but if an attack has the power to go right through your fleshy body it still will.

Sure, Tenten'll die pretty fast, but she'll take out Tobi's arm for the effort 😉

Only Rasenshuriken seems to explode on impact.

Also, naw, any member of Akatsuki could kill Tenten basically immediately.

Kisame floods the area and renders the Konoha 11 unable to adequately move, Tobi teleports Pain outside, then Pain sucks everyone into a CT. estahuh
