ROTS Yoda and Mace vs. OT Sidious and Vader

Yoda and Mace have another chance to face the Sith.
This time, however, they miraculously travel in time and find themselves on board the Death Star in Sidious' throne room.

1) Sabers
2) Force
3) All-out

Yeah, the weak link here is Vader. Mace or Yoda would be too much for him, and both Mace and Yoda have shown the capability to at least tie up Sidious enough while the other downs Vader, thereby making it a two on one powerduel.

Sith take the Force contest. The Jedi take Sabers and all out. But I think the all out with be a close fight..

This Emporer is more powerful than the one Mace and Yoda fought in ROTS. And when Vader goes all out with the Force, he wnt be easy pickings either.

This is a good contest.

it has to be mace and yoda. even in force, Yoda has shown he can block and reverse Sidious's lightning, and Mace has force crushed grievous and hundreds of droids.

Anyway i agree, that Yoda and Mace take this.

^ Vader is definetely above Mace in the Force. If the Sith can make this a Force contest(like the Sidious vs Yoda ended up being) then the Sith take this. In all other scenarios I give it to the Jedi.

i'm not sure about vader being above mace in the force...

^ It was mentioned in a novel that Vader's Power in the Force was significantly above Kar Vastor's (who was able to telekinetically grab Mace and chuck him around)..

Then of course theres all the awsome Force feats from The Force Unleashed series.

Hell even in the OT we see crazy things like Vader Force choking a guy over a view screen, deflecting Blaster fire with his hands, chucking large machinery around mid saber fight without even needing to use his hands.

So yeah I would give Vader the win over Mace in a Force Only fight (not saying it would be easy). In an all out though Id give it to Mace.

But this isnt one on one, this is with ROTS Yoda and OT Sidious who is even more powerful than the Sidious Yoda and Mace had so much trouble against in ROTS.

So like I said IF the Sith duo can turn this into a Force TK fight, then the Sith can win. In all other scenarios the Jedi will most likely win.

Vaders only real weak link is his lightsaber prowess, yoda and mace greatly surpass him there.

As for the force? I'd argue Yoda is above him but i'd still say Vader is above Mace.

The real danger here imo is Palpatine.

You have to understand that Vader was not trying to beat luke. if he was, luke would have been dead. Vader would use the force to make himself faster and stronger and throw mace around while Sidious and yoda have a round two battle.

I think the deflection in ESB was explain in the Glove of Darth Vader book. Supposedly his hand is made of a material that can deflect a blaster shot or some such. Same with Vader having a crushgaunt.

The Jedi likely stomp in sabers, the Sith certainly stomp in Force and probably win the all out fight.

Nah, they probably will in lightsaber combat. Sidious hasn't been known to wield his lightsaber in the twenty years between trilogies and Yoda and Mace outskill Vader.
