1. One Piece
2. Bleach

One Piece might've been boring but I look forward to next weeks chapter and at least stuff happened this week.

If by stuff happening you mean Caesar continuing to remind me why I hate him, then yeah I guess.

But that's not what you mean. ๐Ÿ˜›

One Piece was good enough because of the ending but I'm just so sick of how Luffy has returned to being as untouchable as the East Blue Luffy. I'm not really sure what happened at the end there but I'd wager it's the new guy doing it and not Caesar. And if it is Caesar...why not do that before?

Sure Ceasar sucks but at least the ending was kind of cool and we have Law to make up for it.

Though he hasn't actually fought Luffy, I doubt Luffy would have as easy of a time against Law than he does kicking the crud out of Ceasar.

Maybe the tech required the slime to be spead out across the island or something.

I just finished reading Negima and I want to put that at the top for this week; it was new to me anyway. Though I didn't really liked the cop-out with Nagi cause I expected a fight scene at least.

Overall I think Negima was an entertaining series even though the beginning was painful to read. Still it was pretty cool though I'm not sure what the issue about a certain ending re-write was.

This week?

1) Fairy Tail
2) One Piece
3) Bleach

Pretty clearly. FT was the most dramatic, OP had some fighting and something up with Law, and Bleach had 4 people lose their best technique because they made an assumption.

A revisit with more fleshed out stuff (probably with Asuna's nap as a branch point) may be possible.

There's a law in the works in Japan that could seriously affect the rights to the series, so Akamatsu wanted things finished and thus safe before it hit.

Yeah...I also like to see how "Final Aeon Nagi" was freed from being the Lifemaker or at least hint at Negi's choice. Poor Eva ๐Ÿ™

Oh, though the ending did leave a bunch of stuff out. Or ratr the chapters leading up to the ending did.

After the "Negima" ending sinks in, I think I'll take a stab at Fairy Tale next.

Man, it weirds me out that all of you like seeing Caesar get pwned by Luffy. For shame. :T

But Luffy dropped in the end.

Unlike in Bleach and Naruto, stomps (and all fights in general really) are still kind of fun.

Except for Hodi.

Yeah and during the Sasuke and Itachi fought, who ended up dead and still looked like less of a *****? The minute Caesar started making faces akin to Buggy, I lost all interest in him. He could pwn Akainu and I'd still hate him.

Eh, not for me. Granted, it was cool to see Luffy flexing his Haki in a fight for once but still found it boring.

We dun talk about him.

I guess its just the tone that I like. It was light and the characters were having fun. I really like the upbeat atmosphere of OP. This chapter wasn't srs bsns, so I don't care that Luffy was kicking Caesers ass.

Bleach
Bleach wins this week, no contest.

I don't understand how Aura has been able to read OP this far if he doesn't like the humorous combats. One of the most appealing features of One Piece is it's humor, and the overall range of expression and characters that it can have.

Frankly I get bored of "serious" looking villains all the time.

What he is complaining about is Luffy and friends steamrolling every opponent without effort.

Which hasn't actually happened in this chapter, he's just an idiot.

3. One piece.

Damn one piece almost had a good chapter going then they had to ruin it...

I'll mention that while I like Bleach stomps the least, I do kinda like some of the Naruto ones, because a lot of them are someone out-clevering/out-prepping the opponent. Or just having a cool ability. Luffy beating someone may be fun because it's Luffy (and Bellamy was probably the greatest curbstomp of all the series), but he only is creative with his powers when an opponent is strong.

Naruto's the most mechanically interesting of the three.

Indeed.

It did. Luffy steamrolled Caesar without much in the way of effort. Whatever is happening at the end doesn't change the way Caesar acted in the early parts of the fight.

Indeed. One Piece is very funny. But that doesn't mean I want my villains to make faces like this. Short of Buggy(who's a joke) and Enel when he fought Luffy(and it was awful there), I can't recall any villain making that face. Even Moria acted more dignified.

Sometimes I'm suprised of how diverging tastes we have ๐Ÿ˜„

Anyways, you have your right not to like the current arc in OP, but it wouldn't make any sense for Clown (a scientist), to be a physical threat to a bad-ass pirate such as Luffy in this universe nor any other. As the characters are intended to be understood, Caesar should get his derriere handed to him against Luffy, to expect anything else would be absurd.

He still casually one-shotted Luffy when he got the chance, proving he's a threat even if not a physical one. I don't see how this is any different to any Shikamaru battle -not saying Caesar has an ounce of Shika's charisma, but the parallel can be made-.

I don't have anything for nor against such expression, as exaggerated as it can be, just thought I would mention that the Enel face remains one of my favorite OP moments of all the series. I could make a long dissertation as of the why, but I think you can't probably care ๐Ÿ˜„

My argument. :T

1) Fairy Tail
2) Naruto
3) Bleach

I'd say mid-level chapters all around. Naruto and Bleach were basically just fleshing out what we already knew.
