Orion doesn't really have travel feats that I know of, since he would usually go by boom tube.
Is this basically a race across the universe thing, and assuming Flash could do that?
Yeah a race from one far flung destination to the other. I personally think that Quasar may be the fastest, but that's just me.

Travel speed through space...all of them are equal. There is nothing to hold you back in space which allows some of the not so fastest beings to go FTL (Rogue, Ironman, Super Skrull,Magneto, Vulcan)
Outside of space flight, in a gravitational environment, I don't know who can beat who. I would put Surfer above all of them based off of his speed fts on Earth with Nova being a runner up...this is minus Flash.
Based on narrator hyperbole, I think Gladiator has the best recorded feat at something like 100x the speed of light (or maybe 1000...it was ridiculous). But it's a highly questionable throwaway comment, and thus hard to corroborate.
The GLs maybe. They probably have the most feats of traversing the universe effortlessly in manageable timeframes.

That first paragraph is a dangerous application of real-world physics to comic books. In practice, we see differences between these characters in travel speed even if it doesn't make perfect sense.

I think it happened during the time he was traveling back and forth from his fortress in space and it was stated he was traveling 99% the speed of light.
Rogue did it when partnering up with Surfer. She also did it when Ms. Marvel punched her to the moon.
@Digi, it has been reference on multiple of occasions in a comic that space = speed.
As far as a Quote for speed, Gladiator has all of them beat. In regard to distance vs Time, Surfer has all of them beat. It depends on how you look at it. Writers don't think about how fast a person is going when they write stuff...they do it because of the plot of the story...the character needs to be at this spot at a certain time. What we see as a speed ft of going trillions of times the speed of light, the writer probably looked at it as a light speed ft. Quotes are a lot better imo.

I know we all like to assume writers are stupid, but for some thing as simple as distance over time, I don't buy it. That's just simple f*cking arithmetic.
If Gladiator travels some distance in a minute and he's 100x faster than light, then obviously it will take light 100 minutes to cross the same distance.
And any idiot knows that 100 minutes is far less than 1 year.
Multiple lightyears in seconds > (and so forth) 100x lightspeed.
Quasar can quantum jump... Thus teleporting....
Surfer can enter hyperspace... A realm that allows him to travel faster than the speed of light...
Nova can open wormholes to fly across space.
Thor can teleport...
So really their speed feats may not be all that impressive since off panel Rey could be doing other stuff or maybe even on panel...
Superman and gladiator types however have nothing other than speed.... So...
