like, you could use the example of the mormon church changing its stance on race because of social pressure, its the same thing. It is scientific and secular truths which are so abundantly clearly true that religion can no longer oppose it and be successful.

please note, I'm not saying religious people are stupid, religious people have never contributed anything to human knowledge, religion is bad or that we would be better off if everyone were an atheist. I'm saying the scientific method has been the best thing humans have designed to seek truth in the world, and that it is inherently subversive to those in power because they don't want the type of uncertain truths that you get in science. Power and authority wants clear and unchanging answers which science [b]has to challenge. [/B]

We are way off topic, so I will close with my simple opinion: Science is religion. It is a better religion, but not a perfect religion.

I liked him till recently and after that,I REALLY dont like him now.Rand is a sellout to his father.

Till recently I liked him till he said he thinks americans should give 40% of their social security earnings back to the government.It looks like he has been compromised by the establishment.Thats what happens when you get that high up in office.You got to sell yourself out if you want to stay in power.Power corrupts..I REALLY dont like Rand now.

They always get rid of the good politicians.They did that with Dennis Kucinich and Cythia Mckinney who were both very strong supporters of Ron Paul.They both were not even the same party either.Kucinich was a democrat and Mckinney was an independent.both in congress.
