Well, someone should get going then!

Xeth will step up to start addressing Saar, then.

"Hello, Saar," Xeth says. "It's been awhile. Looks like you knew we were coming."

"Geonosian perception as legendary as ever," says Saar. "I sensed you coming in the same way a man in a desert might spot the elephant herd trampling towards him. Life has been treating you well? Something must have changed for you to be in this place. Chained yourself back to the e Council, perhaps?"

"I never was one for subtlety," Xeth says. "You don't have much to do besides see things coming anyway. And let's just say my current investigations have run their course and the Council has need of my talents, hmm?"

"I am not quite sure what that says about the Council. It seems to me not quite all of you are exactly in traditional Jedi dress... made a few like-minded friends, have we, Xeth?"

"Maybe," Xeth says. "But we're not here to talk about that."

"Why not? What are you going to do if I ask, walk away?"

"No," Xeth says, simply.

"Well then it strikes me that I can talk about anything I want. You can't do anything to me. I am in this cell for the rest of my life. You've already taken from me everything you re prepared to take. So if you want me to stay talkative, I think you should answer my questions."

Thule will have them thrown out if he realizes they're not officially Jedi, correct?

Jelena will try to intervene.

"Now, now, Saar," Jelena says with a smirk. "Why not pick on someone of your own intellectual capability? I am Jelena Bendu, Jedi Knight."

You've all been sent by the Council; it's just best not to draw attention to it when talking to Thule.

-

"My my," says Saar. "Roan, this team of yours is at least far more beautiful than when we last met. Well said. You feel you are the intellectual one, hmm?"

Jelena quickly suppresses the tendencies of her species to be flattered by such banter and continues.

"I should hope so," Jelena says. "I specialized in languages and linguistics at the University of Coruscant and made good use of the Jedi Archives during my training. All for the sake of becoming a better diplomat."

"And what do your skills tell you about this monster then?" he says, indicating himself.

Could I actually try examining him by different skills? Like Savoir-Faire and Observation?

He's certainly intelligent and his accent suggests he has travelled widely.

Jelena will point these things out to Saar.

"I'd say you've been all over the galaxy," Jelena says. "Or nearly so. You've probably seen much in your time."

"More than you could ever see or even imagine," says Saar. "Places no Jedi will ever go."

The doctor is in the room with us, yeah? I keep a discrete eye on him instead. I don't expect anything out of him, but another set of eyes on Saar isn't doing us any favors.

Yes, he is around.

"Oh, why is that?" Jelena says. "Maybe some of these places are what we're looking for."
