Roan speaketh, and so it is.

What will you tell Thule?

First, Jelena will double-check with Saar that he is okay with Thule being informed of the request for broadcasts. She doesn't want Saar to retract his offer just because the Doctor is told.

Well, it would hardly be possible to do it without Thule- he'll be responsible for installing and monitoring it. So Saar doesn't object.

Then Jelena will tell Thule the truth of it. She will explain what Saar is requesting and show him what is being requested.

Well, obviously, Thule thinks it is outrageous- it undoes huge amounts of the isolation strategy. The whole point is that Saar is meant to have no input.

Sounds more like an experiment then a doctor helping a patient when he puts it like that.

From Wentar's perspective the isolation strategy is a little inhumane, even if Saar is a murderous bastard. If Saar loves to analyse things, then no new input forces him to over analyze previous events, which can't be healthy.

Why not give him something new to dwell on, something not related to his 'unstable' past?

Taking any position where you imply Thule has been mistaken is never going to win his co-operation.

I'm sure Saar is an experiment... but that's not how we need to address Thule. We're not here to find out ways to make Saar's treatment better, after all.

"I know it sounds outrageous," Jelena says to Doctor Thule, "but this might be a further opportunity to see how Saar responds to new stimulae. Maybe you can tell if his condition has changed at all, based on how he responds to what he has asked for."

Can Jelena tell if there is anything remarkable in what he requested?

Vera-Kin will remind Wentar, in her Masterly way, that even if she herself does not particularly like being this close to Coruscant and having to deal with this bureaucratic body, they still have to work with Thule, not against him.

"He is on our side," Vera-Kin points out. "He just does not want his research or treatments interrupted. If he was against us being here entirely, we would not have been able to dock with the station."

Wentar's not against working with Thule, he's just uncomfortable with the idea of using a prisoner for an experiment.

"I know that Master Vera, I didn't mean to imply he was against us... I was just thinking," Wentar shakes his head. "Nevermind, now probably isn't the best time to discuss these things."

Not quite sure what you are trying to sense there, Jelena.

-

Ok, Thule is going to go with Jelena's suggestion, which is well-put.

"SO long as you appreciate the great lengths we are going to here in order to help you,"! says Thule. "I want this case closed and everything back ro normal as soon as possible."

"It is fully appreciated," Jelena says. "We are certainly indebted to you, Doctor. Your expertise in this area is something that we are not as near to. Perhaps we can use your knowledge in the future in other ventures. But we will wrap things up with Saar as soon as possible."

Jelena will go about collecting the broadcasts that Saar wanted.

I was asking if Jelena is noticing anything important or a trend in the broadcasts that Saar requested.

Then no.

good job Jelena!

Now I guess all that is left is to see what Saar has to say.

Which is the part that Xeth is excited for.

"Looks like Doctor Thule is going to allow it," Xeth says with a smirk. "Are we your heroes or what?"

Ok then!

Who wants to ask Saar a question?

Me me me!

"Let's start, then," Xeth says.

"Kuylen's fall to the Dark Side. He was sent on a mission to Hutt Space and didn't come back, then popped up in the Damagran Confederacy. What made him fall? How'd he plan it?"

Jelena''s suggestion was what I would have suggested had I not been busy. Thule is verymuch a scientist of the phychy. His treatment is nothing more than an experiment.

"I don't know," says Saar. "I met him long after that."
