Underground? Hmm. You wouldn't rule it completely out, but swampland is a HIDEOUS environment for underground work. You#d have built it on another world. It would need tremendous maintenance.

Okay, so that's in the maybe pile... Although it has the potential to explain why we haven't found Lennah's ship yet. That is odd, right?

Unless he isn't here (yet). We should hide our ship in a smaller clearing somewhere.

(Could his ship be burried? Or the swamp foliage be arranged in such a way as to hide or camoflage his ship?)

All theoretically possible, though bury your ship on this planet and you may well never see it again.

It IS odd, Wentar, yes. But if it was a simple as him not being here, your intuitions would have said so earlier. I indicated when you were in orbit that this is the right place (amongst its many uses, the Force really helps advance plots...)

Is there a path through the dense foliage that a small ship might fit through on repulsers?

Would it be possible that Lennah created the swamp? He built an underground base, and then create the swamp to hide it?

Not impossible per se, but you are reaching for extreme possibilities. There is a swamp her because it is a swamp world.

No form of tracking or logic is helping you find his ship.

It might be cloaked.

Ah now... that would be different... it would certainly explain why you couldn't see anything from orbit and for a guy with access to technology, that's much simpler than trying to dig underground in a swamp.

Still, a full-on cloaking device needs a lot of power.

Heres a good question, can Denz check to see if we are being jammed in any way that is stopping us from getting energy readings but also reading s of any kind?

Fix-it: 3 (if that is the skill)

Maybe Lennah's power source is what's causing this part of the swamp to seem so strange?

Actually... Along the lines of jamming, maybe this part of the swamp is set up like a big jamming device. Perhaps we should cut some of the flora down and see if it's artificial or not.

If his power source was so absurdly powerful as to upset the wildlife, there's no way you would not have detected it.

Nah, your Force senses would tell if this stuff was not alive.

No, you are not being jammed.

well the wildlife is being kept away by something. So there must be something doing that. Are there any sounds we can detect at a frequency above the level of human hearing but animals would hear.

Fair thinking, but no.

Is that because we don't have the equipment to detect it or it just isn't there.

Then... On a grid map of this location, and based on the wildlife scan, where is the exact centre of it (lack of animal life)?

I don't suppose we can discern any pattern in this area, trees/landmarks/etc? I'm thinking maybe this weird area was altered in a way that points to Lennah's hiding place and then covered up to look like an unremarkable piece of land

Essentially, if you know what landmarks to look for, you can find your way around. Possibly put in place so Lennah himself doesn't get lost in the swamp.

You don't have specialised surveying equipment and the like, no.

Nah it's nothing like that, Wentar. A cloaking device, as Denz suggested, fits your feeling perfectly, as that would mean the apparent unremarkableness is a fake.

The area is a bit vague to have a precise centre, Denz.

You can just keep canvassing the area until you find something, but that takes more time, is all.

Time we don't have.

So we are fairly certain (based on intuition) that he is using a cloaking device. But we are not detecting a power source. Is it possible to cloak a power source and the frequency and everything it would put off?

Not quite0 a cloaking device would explain the feeling of deception, but it is incongruous with the amount of power required. But that principle is the type of issue you are dealing with.

As to your question- well, 'possible' is such a broad thing. You guess so, in theory. You've never heard of it.
