Precious time passing for you, Rand!

Rand is going to call Galder and tell him to call off the attack on Ogros. It's a trap and they are going up against more than just Ogros. They need to return to the mountain. Something's up.

He then tries to call Rianna and tell her of his suspicions.

It's way too late for that- Gallador is already on the combat zone.

Then they need to get him out of there. Rand will alert Galder of his suspicions of Firak and that they will be up against more than intended. They need to retreat as soon as possible.

Azarl will focus and try to determine what it is he is feeling while Xavier works at the doors to get them out of there.

"We may need to just cut our way out."

Rand will also place the base on alert.

"We are expecting attack," Rand says. "The danger is real. I want a perimeter sweep as soon as possible."

Galder will hold off until Gallador signals for help. He will take Rand's warning into account but not say anything to Firak just yet.

Xavier will start trying to get these blasted door open as quickly as possible.

Is Vic privy to Rand's warning? Or does his noob status mean he has to ask Galder? 😛

Not an option. Gallador intentionally walked into an ambush- it's way too late to escape. It's win or die.

Meanwhile,, Rand tries to put the base on alert. You've not used that function before, and it doesn't seem to be working.

It's an instinct, Azarl- there's nothing to determine. A bad feeling is a bad feeling.

Rand will try it verbally then! He'll radio each person in the base individually if he has to!

How far behind are Vic and I, if Gallador gets attacked how fast can we be there?

Just for clarification, so I get this right in my mind. Galder and a handful of Epireans are in front, behind where we assume Ogros to be. Gallador and another handful of Epireans are being bait right now, and presumably about to be attacked. And then Vic and I and the main force of Epireans are before Gallador. So, potentially we could attack Ogros forces from two sides while Gallador is in the middle, if everything goes according to plan.

Did I get that right?

No, Galder is with you guys; there are only two forces- his and Gallador's. Galder was going to lead the diversion but changed because his Survival and Leadership are good for the large group moving in unnoticed.

You could split again but it becomes more complex- besides which, trouble is already starting.

Gallador is supposed to get Orgos out into the open then Galder comes and takes him down not giving him a chance to run.

Xavier is starting to wonder why this whole thing happening, "Azral what is going on with you?"

He is almost ready just to go back and start work on his over board again while Dak fixes the problem.

I'll give Melkor a little longer, btw, else I really must move on.

Can I tell if the comms have stopped working or if they're being jammed?
