If you are standing on the edge, it doesn't mater how acrobatic you are, you are still a target.

If you are clinging to the side of the edge, not a target... but very slow indeed.

Cover is also slower, and there is the possibility that you may get in each other's way.

Well, for starters, how many of us are charging down the path?

Well I won't know that for sure until I push on and see how many of you posted to do so. About four or five, it looks to be.

Sorry I've been very inactive, not sure what to contribute atm, but Con will of course not charge, as he's still in the control room, I think.

Between Focused Guard, Block, and Coordination, Galder doesn't mind a straight charge if no cover can be managed.

Azarl is definitely going to take cover. If anyone needs Bodyguarding, stay close to me. Otherwise you get nothing.

Rianna's fine with cover-hopping, she knows that a straight charge will probably get her killed.

Xavier quickly looks at the panel and sees what is up with the alert!

Rand eyes it as well, curious if something new set it off.

It's the danger alarm for the shield generator!

Xavier begins looking at it, do we have any cameras set up for that area to view it?

If so Xavier will do that.

Also what does the danger alarm mean that systems are starting to fail on it?

Xavier will relay to Galder regardless,

"Galder the alarm for the shield generator is going off!"

Well isn't this grand

"Not now you"

Nope, no cameras.

The alarm means some sort of major system issue.

Xavier will also relay that to Galder, "We've got possible major system failure at the shield generator. If that thing goes down you'll be sitting ducks for aircraft."

It's actually quite awkward to get accurate attack runs on the mountain path- it's all valleys and crevasses. Not impossible, though.

"Well fix it, then," Galder tells Xavier via comlink before engaging the destroyers. "We're a little busy."

What can Xavier do from the control room to fix it?

What system is failing?

Well, you'd guess it's either started to wear out a good ten years before you'd expect it to- as it was brand new when you stole it- or someone is destroying it.

They would've had to scale the backside of the mountain, wouldn't have they?

Good thing one of them as a jetpack.

Could Rand get there in time?

Hard to judge as you have no idea how long you have.

Rand will be damned if he needs to get another shield generator. What do his senses say about heading out that direction? Or even the timing?
