You could say the same for Rip Hunter. Rip is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to detect. Per Degaton and the rest of his gang couldn't find him through time.

Brainiac 5 has his own cosmic weapons, Alex was smart enough to bring back the Multiverse and manipulate it on a whim and of course we have John Constantine. I rarely post other posters messages, but I feel the need, because I couldn't say this any better. It's from a Thanos vs Constantine match on another board and IMO pretty much ended the battle.

Lets take a look at the two characters. On the one hand we have Thanos a very powerful being who has beaten high level entities sometimes with the aid of artifacts, and sources of power that increase this power even further. On the other we have Constantine who has defeated or faced beings of roughly equal power to those entities with nothing. No powers no artifacts, no sources of power. Nothing but pure guile, cunning and a gained understanding of the "rules" of the universe. Basically we have a heavy weight who has beaten cosmic and multiversal entities with vast power and sometimes prep, against a guppy normal human with a slight psychic ability and an understanding of magic and the laws of the universe who's done the same.

Remember the question of the thread "Who is the better prep master of the two?", It's actually stated in the OP. When Thanos can do the same with none of his own normal power, no artifact or source of power ( IG, HOTO). That's when you can say he's a better prepper. See that's what I see as the telling difference here. Constantine can operate on similar levels to high level entities with no access to their level of power, and only very rudimentary magic (application of knowledge only) . He defeats or manipulates beings up to 1000's of times more powerful (like Thanos ) than himself with nothing but his wit and cunning. Thanos has used these same traits and very well, but combined with his strength, invulnerability, his "cosmic" energy, psionics, etc etc and the IG and HOTU.Take away all that power would he be able to contend on the same level. Take away Dooms Armor, Tech his ability to travel time to enhance his magical knowledge with forgotten dark arts, would he. How would Batman fare against lesser levels (say planetary) without the resources of his wealth, technology, and support and transport equipment.

That's why i believe Constantine to be a superior prep master to any other in comics. he defeats dimensional, multi-dimensional and omniversal (even if that's questionable by some) beings with nothing but guile. He tricks them into beating themselves basically, which IMHO is a superior level or prepping than obtaining the weapon, or power to do so, or the information to use with a power.

Reed spoke to several "gods" in the past. One of them also wanted to rebuild the Universe, and he asked for the knowledge of Reed to help him do it.

Weak God if you ask me. Constantine actually bested God. And he didn't need tech to do it.
