All Dino Thunder did was reveal even further how much better Jason is, ironically. Afterall, in Dino Thunder it was revealed that Tommy's Green Ranger suit was his strongest.
And we all know Jason not only beat the Green Ranger, he beat an AMPED Green Ranger. And, he even fought the same amped Green Ranger unmorphed for a little while and did ok.
Tommy's in an endless loop that no matter what he does, he just makes Jason get better with power scaling.

Jason already looked superior to him in direct combat twice, including at his most powerful ever. Jason was also directly stated to be physically stronger. And he fought Tommy at his most powerful, as the amped Green Ranger, unmorphed, and got in some good hits.
And Jason also had the superior feats in the Forever Red episode, despite being rusty as hell.

And the martial arts tournament was a draw only on points, 2 of I think 3 or 4 of Tommy's points came from a trip and Jason backing out of the circle--ring out.
All of Jason's points came from hard hitting strikes that put Tommy's scrawny ass on the mat. Jason also got in the last few hits, so he closed it strong.
If going by number of strikes landed, Jason easily won that fight.
Their skill is roughly equal. It's just that Jason is the better athlete.

Yeah.
He fought the Green Ranger in his psyche, revealing the Green Ranger to be his strongest morph.
However Jason fought the Green Ranger unmorphed for real. And that was an amped Green Ranger.
Well no. If he fought the Gree Ranger while being the Black Ranger, then you'd have an argument. He fought him unmorphed. Or if he fought and beat the Black Ranger, then again you'd have a better argument.
As it stands, by feats, Tommy in Black is Lolstrong. Granted, I don't remember much of Jason. But I don't think he has anything as good as 00:51.
