You are it my friend. Smurph will auto carry the belt for a month , after that he has to defend it against you. You are officially the first person to challenge him. If this challenge is for real you must state within 1 week what character you will pick.
Also, if smurph wants to challenge before the months time he is allowed to do so.

Yeah, once someone has challenged a champ they must post their character selection within a week .
yo, ima fraid i have to temp bow out of this for a couple reasons. smurph mentioned to me in a pm he wanted to try and get it in next week and there's no way im gonna be able to do it.
i WILL be competing, maybe just not for a couple more weeks down the road. 'pologies, but i didn't want to keep smurph in the dark any longer than i had to.
That makes me really sad. Our title match was going to be epic.
In other news, after June 21st there's going to be about a two month hiatus where I won't be able to take any matches. I'll be almost entirely without technology for that time period save the odd day every other weekend. Which obviously makes matches awkward. I can give up the title if two others want to compete for it in my absence though, I'll just come back and knock them off the top come late August/September.
In the mean time, I've got a bit of time on my hands to have another match if there are any open ones. Until that job starts, I feel like I'm twiddling my thumbs.
