I sat on the sidelines for most of the "early" days. My first tourney was a "make up what you want" affair. Everything after that was intense prep though.
But this is kinda the plan. Avoid research. Make **** up. Reap the benefits.

Somewhat disagree. They're lost in drafts, no doubt. Following a draft, you can identify maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of the participants that are in trouble. But to win, with any kind of competent participant pool, requires in-battle verbal gymnastics as well.

Dafuq? You didn't even compete when I did my audio posts, did you? Besides, they kicked ass. And also, I doubt I'm serious. Putting in work on these things is hard. I doubt I'm ever competing again with anyone that I need to heavily research first.

Grah. How do you feel about late July/early August? I'm wicked busy until mid July (big work event), and I don't actually have everything prepared for the draft pick that I want. We can have a match sooner if you want to face Minion or Tony or something (I wouldn't pick Minion against you, btw 😉 ). But I need a bit more time if we want it to be legit.

no worries. we can do it later. now you have me curious about this pick you need to gather intel on.....
i'll leave the challenge open to anyone who feels like taking it up sooner though. i'd actually be open a title match at any level though, from low street to high meta once this current match is complete. so if anyone is up for whatever level, let me know.
