Just check your pm's. 😛

Ok Leo, I gave it some thought and I think it's ok to choose a character in a lower weight class to battle for a higher belt . But be warned that you would have to defend that belt you just won.

Example : I am challenging for the KMC HH title. The champ is Digi with Superman and I come with Cap. Mar-Vell ( he's been ok'd by judges). If I win , I would have to defend the KMC HHtitle with Cap. Mar-Vell. So , it's a double edged sword IMO, but yes it's allowed.

Still no word from anybody wanting a match in the immediate future.

cool. 🙂 so how much lower can you go? if i had what i thought was a clever pick (i don't, but for arguments sake, say i did...) could i choose a meta character to combat a high herald? so long as i know i'll have to defend said character?

there should be no lower limit...only an upper limit imo

if one thinks they can use spiderman to beat thor, they should be allowed to do so

...would be a short defense though, presumably. A major deterrent of picking a character solely to counter another will be that you will probably get waxed in your first defense. It's a decent "check and balance" imo.

thats up to the picker to decide

My point is, if Superman is the champion of HH, and I pick a High Meta that exploits one of his weaknesses, there's going to be dozens of Mid-to-high heralds that will destroy me once I beat Superman. As long as my next opponent isn't an idiot, I'm only holding the belt for a short time. And if this retains any popularity (still pending) there will be people lining up for the easy win.

So there's a price to pay for playing matchups.

I'd be down for any of the street level tiers, and which tier Wolverine falls under..

You can go as low as you want but never higher.

Next time try and pm the character so no one can prep for you. But noted ( Wolverine ) now belongs to you. We await a challenger for street as of right now you're 1# ranked street in KMC.

Edit : Wolverine = HS , but someone can come as low as Robin.

My bad, I didn't think Wolverine was classified as a street in the KMC tier guide, so I was willing to do a BG for the Street Tiers and what ever Mid Tier Wolverine was under.

I could be wrong . Ultimately the judges decide.

I would never classify Wolverine as street. Low to Mid meta, imo

Wolverine is most likely low meta, maybe mid.

{edit} or what Blair said

I agree with this.

Hmmm..

Also, for the tag team title there will be no weight class. Anything from HH down is good. In fact both team members can pic HH.

these are just comicbook guys, not manga, right?
