I'd also call it lunacy if you were arguing that Israel would be more willing to attack America than America to attack Israel. I can't imagine there is much support for either, but it would be against every one of Israels interests and motivations to do such.

In a limited war (IE: no occupation, just tactical dominance, no nukes, etc.) the Persian Gulf Carrier Taskforce would wreck Israel's military.

I hope USA doesn't get involved with the war in Iran. I foresee a disaster. Besides, I don't think USA should fight wars for anyone...
